SMARTLAB Toys It's Alive Slime Lab

Hey, I was pleasantly surprised when I gave this to my 7 year old nephew. He immediately began to tear the box apart because he couldn't wait to try experimenting. He told me some of the experiments he does at school and he wants to try them again including some new ones from the box. Mom and dad were impressed, especially because it made me look somewhat good in front of everybody. By the way, an extra advantage with SmartLab is that it involves the father/mother getting closer to their son/daughter by providing an occasional tidbit of help.

I bought this for my ten yr old who loves anything science. This kit does come with a lot of different experiments but I had to only give it three stars because the slime-machine dose not actually do anything at all except for shake up whatever it is you put into the machine. The picture on this thing makes it looks like the slime actually expands/grows up the walls of the machine, but it does no such thing. You put the slime in, turn it on and all it does it shake up the "slime" (the slime in this kit isn't very slimy, like others). My daughter was so excited to play with this and it was a big let-down.

What a great way to teach science. My 6 year old grandson loves the experiments. I would wish there were more in the book.

The kit doesn't even include the ingredients to make the slime. items are: cornstarch, glue (clear), unflavored gelatin, ground pepper ( no idea why) white elmers glue, liquid starch ( like sta flo) red or purple cabbage? ( again what?) baking soda, vinigar, blender, strainer, food coloring. these dont use up in one slime experiment, its just over all things you might want to consider buying before you get this but it does have all the mixers, a vibrator.

I bought this for my sisters birthday! She loves slime she loved this! I just though for $30 ur would at least coming with products to make slime.

Dissapointed that none of the ingredients came with it.

My 10 year old grandson was not impressed with this unit, he said shook little looks nothing like shows on front of box. It will now just sit in a corner waiting to go to donation box.
