I love this kaleidoscope, I looked at what was in Amazon. It's so colorful and bright, the 2 different tubes mix together or one at a time. And the price is great. The color scheme is the color of the scope you choose. I got the green, and I'm going to get another color. Great product.

I like the size, the colors are great, would be nice if I could buy additional liquid tubes for different colors/effects. Manufacturer should consider a small built-in LED light for added sparkly effect. No complaints though.

Makes a really pretty show but slow flowing is misleading. The white tube flows very rapidly, and everything within it passes to the other side of the tube in seconds. The green tube on the other hand clogs and won’t flow at all unless it is repeatedly tapped. Irregardless, it produces very pretty, ever changing views the grandkids found very entertaining. Grandma enjoys viewing it as well.if the green green tube worked properly it would have been 5 stars.

Fascinating, ever-changing arrays of twinkling, colourful patterns that just make you want to say ‘ooh’ ‘aah’ and ‘wow’. You could watch this for hours, whatever your age. This gloFX kaleidoscope works fine with a single ‘wand’ – if you slide both wands into place, you get an extra dense display. It’s neat and light - sized just right for small eyes and small hands. Works best with a strong side light – hold the kaleidoscope parallel to a window, or beside a table lamp, not pointing straight at it. There’s nothing to plug in, or charge, or wind up; you don’t need an internet connection, wifi or USB socket; you don’t even need batteries. All you have to do is hold it - it just works, every time. It never runs down, it doesn’t wear out and the patterns don’t fade. You and your children (if you can bear to part with it!) will get a lot of fun for a very modest price. With mine, the mirror assembly had slid forward a tad, blocking the opening for the rear wand. It was very quick and easy to push the mirrors back with a pencil.

Kaleidoscopes... guaranteed winner for gifts and cool fun memories. The old school ones helped me and many other artists to seek the surreal beauty and symmetry within these toys. For several years I have found and purchased this newer style of kaleidoscope which uses a thicker clear liquid and a myriad of tiny objects inside to produce a fantastic experience. The ability to just move the main tube or turn it; creates an automatic continuous morphing of designs. It’s hard to explain until you see it and play around with the different movements. But it’s worth the very low price to check this motif out and compare it to the older version. I have found several versions of this continuous upgraded kaleidoscope which use different designs to display the beauty inside. This one has two different tubes for inserting into the main viewer to really form great mosaic designs. It’s the perfect gift for (especially) older teens and grown folks who still love this device so cool.

This kaleidoscope is fun. The imagery is beautiful, awesome and authentic. Unfortunately I had to return it BC the eye hole is way too small and it actually gives you a headache. Had the eye hole been bigger I would have given this full stars.

When the kaleidoscopes came, I was surprised how small they were (didn't pay attention to those details). The main body is about 7&1/2 inches long and it has two tubes that are about 6 inches long. I have come to like the size as I am giving them to my 3 & 5 year old grandkids so they should fit well in their hands. Also should be easy to pack into a purse or whatever. The main body has holes you put the tubes through. The tubes have rubber-bands that hold them in place. You can twist the tubes to start the show or as I like to do, just tilt it side to side as the gel inside the tubes move...or you can do both! It is never the same which makes it pretty cool and you can opt for using one tube or both. I think this would be a good way for children to slow down before bed, although you do need some kind of light to have on to see the colors. Little ones would probably need help inserting the tubes into the main body but pretty easy to handle. I bought two so no fighting, lol.

All you have to do to have a constantly changing colorful kaleidoscope designs play before your eye is to hold this in one hand and gently move it in the light. The glitter bits floating through fluid in the twisted tubes do all the work! Best kaleidoscope I have found at a fair price!

Absolutely better than I'd have thought! Only issue is the viewing hole is really small, would be great if it was either 50% bigger or had a different size attachment, or a way to remove the eyepiece without breaking it!

Things I liked: Real holographic backboard behind the wands you insert. Honestly, looking at this holographic backboard with the clear section of the wand looked better than the sparkles inside the wand. I like the two wands with different colours to add some variety and that you can insert both. I like the swirl in the wand which is what makes the holo background look good through the clear fluid. What I didn't like: The wands mostly are filled with little beads, green in one and white in the other. The green are translucet which is okay I suppose but the white don't look very good to me and they basically just block the sparkles and dull the image and i find them in the way and not a great filler. The plastic tube where they cut holes out for the wands to go in wasn't very cleanly cut. There is chipped plastic around the holes in a few spots and looks rough. What I'd change: Having wands with different colour themed sparkles instead of the same glitter pieces in both wands. Have one wand or have additional wands without filler beads. Put holographic glitters into a wand! This kaleidoscope is still the best one I've been able to find and this will actually be a gift for someone else but I'm looking to buy one for myself and I'm not sure if I'm sold on this one. I wish I could find ones as good as they used to make. If you have nothing spectacular in your mind you're comparing it to, then this one is probably great for you.
