I have tried several similar devices with mixed success. But I have chronic back pain and this was a gift, so it was worth a try. I am so impressed! The massage is firm without being painful. The size allows it to target exactly where the knots are worst in my back. The fact that it holds a charge will also allow me to use this regardless of my proximity to an outlet, which is a huge plus in my mind. I would buy this for any friend with back aches and would buy one to leave at work if I had to be in the office more often.

This makes this massager more portable and easier to use at different places. There are several massage modes. I don’t see much of difference which between the modes. The massager is very comfortable to use on the lower back. But when I try to secure the massage for the upper back, the strap can’t hold the massager that well. It will slide down unless I place another chair cushion under the massager to hold it up. The heat function works, but not very hot and not very effective. Overall, I like this massager a lot due to the portability. I use it almost every day.
