Exceptional Customer Service!
Purchased the 48V 1000W kid back in October to put on a Ozark Trail Fat Bike from Walmart. Needed the 120mm motor which was all good. Right after ordering the company contacted me saying there was a delay in their shipment of that specific size (120mm is kind of an oddball) but it would be shipped as soon as it came in. I received the package like one day longer than the original expected time and Lascycle kept me posted with updates and tracking numbers the whole time. Soon after it arrived, I installed everything on the bike which went very smooth, and took it for a test ride. About a mile in it had a weird hiccup and then a little while later it shut off for a few seconds before kicking in again. Back in the shop, i checked all the connections, speed sensor spacing, computer configuration, battery terminals, brake sensors, throttle, etc but everything looked good. Id had this happen on another bike before once or twice but it was only the first ride and probably a loose connection or something. I rode this bike a few more times and it kept happening, not often but every few miles. Sometime a blip of power cut and sometimes needing a complete reboot. The computer would read max MPH (99.8mph) when this happened. We put probably 30-40 miles on it and it kept happening. I began digging into the issue. Swapped batteries, swapped brake sensors, swapped speed sensor, swapped computer... I contacted Lascycle throughout the trouble shooting process and they always responded within a day or so. I would send them symptoms and they would send me things to check and try. At one point they sent me a new speed sensor to try, at no cost. It took quite a while but that was due to my work schedule not Lascycle, they were on top of my questions very quickly. Finally after a few weeks we decided the controller on the motor was possibly the issue. They offered to send a new controller but i requested the whole motor because i was not comfortable changing the controller myself. They obliged! They sent me a shipping label and once they received my original motor they promptly sent me a complete replacement at no cost to me!! I installed the new unit yesterday and took a couple mile test ride. So far so good! No issues everything worked perfect. This old issues would almost always happen in the first mile so should be in the clear. I would like to do some more testing but the temp is below 0F today and i really don't want to freeze my face off, ha. If you are looking to build an ebike, buy your kit from Lascycle! I have never had an Amazon seller be so responsive and helpful. It was amazing. We exchanged probably 20+ messages over about a month's time. When we couldn't find an easy solution, they sent a brand new motor without question! I will be using Lascycle for all my future builds. Customer service is second to none.

Pleased with purchase
Purchased the 750w motor with the EKDO1 display, and 20 Ah battery. I put this setup on a Specialized Sirrus 4.O bike. I am a 215 lbs rider, and over the course of 6 rides with a total 5146 ft of elevation gain, I got 118 miles on a single battery charge. The mileage and elevation gain was measured by the "Ride with GPS" app. on my phone. (The bike's display indicated 128 miles for the same 6 rides). I was trying to maximize the battery life so I stayed in PAS levels 1 and 2 exclusively. I comfortably averaged 14 MPH on these rides. PAS 1 and 2 easily handled all hills. The conversion kit comes with no instructions, but all the information you need to install is shown in the information on the Amazon webpage for this motor. Look this information over VERY carefully before you purchase. make sure you understand everything. Be careful to get the correct size chainring, and that your bike has clearance for this size chainring. Chainring size is determined by the number of cogs on your rear hub. Make sure you know your bottom bracket type and size before you order. I suggest you bring your bike into a bike shop and have them remove the bottom bracket. They have the necessary tools and It will only take them a few minutes. They can confirm what type and size the bottom bracket is. The total weight of the bike, motor and battery is 45LBS. All of the connecting wires are long, and after all connections are made you will probably have a lot of excess wire you will have to zip tie to the bike. There are a few small zip ties that come with the bike, but I suggest buying a package of larger zip ties as you will need a lot of them. Installation really isn't that difficult, although it may appear so at first. There are some installation videos out there. The battery mounts to the water bottle holders on your bike's frame. These holders are designed to hold a water bottle and not a 10 lbs battery. I did mount the battery to the water bottle holder, however I also purchased some 24" heavy duty zip ties to zip tie the battery to the frame. I don't know if this is necessary, but it was added peace of mind. The kit comes with a front light, but no bracket to install it on the bike. I already had had a better light I had intended to use, so this didn't bother me. The finished setup rides very smooth and quiet. I now have about 400 miles on it and I'm very happy!

Marvelous little motor
After >2,000 miles, using the 750 and the 1,000, this is a tough review because of the many elements involved and must start by saying that these motors are a little marvel. It pushes well and responds very well to the cadence and push of your legs, for up to 8 hours in 1 and 2, while can run like a motorcycle in max (7 to 10) with no effort and drain the battery in 10 miles. I have crossed rivers up to 3 feet deep and opened the engine dry. Battery however failed with water and could not recover. Some connections with sensors may be lose or faulty and this is a mystery I haven’t solved so, will have to change cables to see if is the connection or the controller.

Bafang Conversion Kit
I love my Bafang Conversion kit! The order was very quick and simple. I got my kit within two days of me placing the order and instantly assembled the kit on to my bike . So far this kit is amazing and very easy to install. I would definitely buy this kit again but just have to say that the quality and price of this kit is most definitely reasonable compared to other kits on the market. I would say the only downfall is the Manual/Diagrams that the kit arrives with, it is very vague and not precise. YouTube was a better option for me then reading the manual as well as tuning my ride to go faster then the legal mode. -Pricing is affordable -Quality is Great -Install is easy (YouTube) -Kit is very fun and reliable -Also Very Quiet too when I ride around

This kit is made for 68mm
This kit is made for 68mm BB, 73mm BB will work but you have to use longer screws and spacers. The drive shaft is too short not enough threads to put on the shaft locking nut. Just buy the kit that made for 73mm BB. Spending $500 for the kit and I expected it to work as intended.

Great Kit
This kit worked great on a 2021 Giant Talon medium sized frame. I did have to go with the lekkie 40T kit to get a good chain line. This was my first build. The motor has plenty of power. My biggest recommendation is to make sure you do your research that you have a compatible bike to put it on. Will work on most but certain bikes work better than others. The installation was very easy, the devil is in the details to get it perfect!

Drive system good, battery holder needs revision
I've bought these drive kits before and they are nice and straightforward to install, seem to work well. Have over 200 miles on it with no issues with the drive. However, the battery holder did not fit the bike. Several fit issues. Ended up buying another rack to fit the back of the bike and using parts from it to mount the battery holder securely. Battery mount should be made more Universal.
