You better have Good glasses, the fine print is hard to read. However you should know it says to wait for 3 weeks at least to cure! Come on that's ridiculous. I wouldn't have purchased this and used it had i known. So be aware!!

Great for a lot more than just aquariums
This is not just for aquariums, but I also find that aquarium silicone is an excellent all purpose adhesive when you want to make the adhesive very flexible and/or removable. I use this for sealing up unused connector receptacles on hobby electronic equipment to protect from the weather, gluing pool equipment objects that are exposed to pool water, and so on. There are hundreds of uses around the house and it's one of those things you don't realize how useful this silicone is until you start discovering the possibilities. One thing to keep in mind, when buying in these caulk tubes, the silicone will dry and plug up the tip unless it is used all at once or carefully sealed. So this one is when you need a larger amount, otherwise look at the smaller squeeze tubes.

Stanley Waterproof Aquarium Silicone - 1x10.1 Fl. Oz. Clear, Waterproof Bond to Glass
When it comes to sealing aquariums the general rule is that plain 100% silicone caulks should be fine and aquarium safe, but for those the want a piece of mind and desire a caulk that is actually rated for aquarium use this Stanley caulk is a great choice... It's reasonably priced, and so far is working as expected... I used it to reseal a 55 gallon, I was going to fully disassemble the 55 and build it new, but decided to just reseal it vs risk breaking the trim rings... So far so good, the silicone spread out well and bonded well to the cleaned glass, no issues and the tank is no longer leaking...

100% Silicone
Inserts into your own caulking gun. So be sure you have one of those on hand if you are preparing for the worst--an aquarium leak. If it was in a squeeze tube, I think it would be easier for fish keepers to use. Not everyone has a caulking gun or knows where it is when a leak is suddenly occurred and needs immediate attention. This says you can apply it to wet surface, which is helpful for small drip aquarium leak. I do not know why this is "aquarium" when the tube of roof sealant I have in my caulking gun currently is also labeled 100% silicone. This silicone is black. I have not tried it yet. Saving it for the day I need it, if it comes.
