Nice tow truck for boys or girls. It has a crane that actually works with lights and sounds. Kids enjoy hours of fun playing tow truck driver. It's easy to use and moves with ease. Good gift idea for birthdays or holidays. It's priced good for the quality of the product

We got this truck for our grandkids to play with when they come to visit, including our 5 and 6-year-old grandsons. It seems pretty sturdy and well-made (both the cab and trailer are metal), but the crane arm is plastic, so that will likely be the first casualty of their play. And, one of the 3 sound buttons on top of the cab doesn't work and I'm not sure that it ever did.Anyway, our grandkids have had some fun with this truck, though, but I've noticed that they mainly play with the truck and all-plastic car separately. It is somewhat "tricky" for younger kids (and even a few of us adults) to figure out exactly how to get the car's front and back wheels into the harness, push the orange button on top to raise the crane arm (or the orange lever on the side to lower it), manually extend and retract the crane arm when needed, and turn the dial at the back of the trailer to lower and retract the bed to the floor.All in all, I'm not sure this would be a favorite plaything for kids and worth the cost, unless you can find it on sale. But, there are some neat features and, in a world where SO many toys are all plastic, the mostly-metal truck does stand out as higher quality than most. 'm not sure, though, whether the good things about this truck will be appreciated by the average child.

The media could not be loaded. My 3-year-old grandson loves all things cars and trucks and this truck set has quickly become one of his favorites. The tow truck flatbed comes with a car that you can pop into the lift harness or roll up the flat bed ramp. The crane lift has a pump button on top that you press a bunch of times to pump up the crane and lift the car. It kind of remains me of the old Jordan pump shoes with the little basketball on the flap. You can easily drop the car on the crane back down by pressing the lever by the fuel tank. The flatbed also slides out and tilts down to drive the car up the ramp. The roll out can be controlled by a little round knob by the rear of the ramp. The design allows for exploration and imagination of the truck's abilities. My grandson was playing with it at Christmas and some of my friends and family who were over were asking me where I found it and wanted to also pick one up for their kids and they all played well with this truck set and everyone wanted a turn. The truck has some engine noises built in that can be triggered by the buttons on the top of the cab. The crane extends out and also swivels to let you pick the car up or drop it down on the side like a real tow truck would do. I’ve even enjoyed playing with this truck and it’s great to find toys that I can play with my grandson with and this was a winner right out of the box.
