BeaverCraft Wood Carving Gloves CRG - Cutting Cut Resistant Gloves Level 5 for Whittling, Woodworking, Food Prep

I bought these to go with a couple BeaverCraft carving sets. I cringed at the price and wondered if they would pay off. Well, I slipped them on, which was easy enough. I then noticed the cool feel, not hot like so many gloves. In fact, these are the most comfortable gloves I have ever worn for any reason! I have never needed the tape, even though I have some--too much trouble. These gloves do the job, fit well, grip well, and well worth the price paid. I like gloves that I forget I am even wearing!

I decided to learn how to whittle. I cut so many chunks out of my hands and struggled with doing something I enjoy. Now I’m free from knicks and cuts and they feel great on my hands! Not slippery with wood at all!!!

Is it completely cut resistant? No. It will slice with enough pressure. However, it's good for an accidental slip up with knives, it will save you from cuts for sure. with all honesty the grip is not the best. There is no traction. It would be good to have some traction on the palm and fingers of the gloves to hold the knife well. overall, the gloves are great.

The gloves are nice and fit well. They are anti-slashing but not anti-puncture: when whittling, the knife punctured through the glove and an 1/8in into the palm of my hand.

they feel so thin, i was apprehensive to even try. The amount of fingers i would have lost at this point without these gloves....i wouldn't be able to type this.

These cut resistant gloves are good for wood carving or in the kitchen - I have 3 now for the different tasks I sue them for. Get the correct size is best not to tight or loose. pricing is good too.

These gloves are a saving grace. On numerous occasions they have saved me from the perils of an office visit to a western medicine pickpocket. Thankful to use these as they fit nice and hold up quite well.

I was honestly skeptical of these. They don't look like they can stop a blade. I put in several hours of wood this morning and I have zero new cuts on my hands, despite a few slips that would normally draw blood. They're not indestructible and will fail sooner or later, but the lack of pain and functionality is absolutely worth the cost. If you play with sharp things, you should be wearing these!

These gloves really work. Great for woodcarving or glass work.

This is a little thicker than a regular glove, but its not that much blade resistant (well, as much as any fabric you would put between a blade and your hand i guess). I think it will reduce the deep of a cut into your hand, but i don't think it will stop it. It was easy to make a dent into the glove, definitely not as resistant as demonstrated. I didn't expected a invulnerability glove for my hands, but I did expected more protection from this product. Also, a large will not fit a XL hand, it don't stretch that much. But a good fit for a large hand.

Bought these several times . Make great sticking stuffers. Saves fingers .
