It works really well. The fans come on for anything over a few hundred watts and go off quick enough. It has a great display that informs you of the output and battery capacity and voltage. A must for off grid applications. We cook using this on our solar system on a regular basis when the sun is shining.

Needed the pure sine wave to run the wife’s hair straighteners, does this no problem, also powers the microwave and toaster ( not tried at the same time yet )Only criticism is the remote control screen is not central and looks odd, works fine tho

I've installed this into a motorhome. It looks very good quality, a solid feel to the exterior and terminal connections are very well isolated with a neat fitting solid plastic enclosure. It powers everything I have tried so far without issue: a power drill, portable washing machine (that needs pure sine 2ave to function correctly) and a Tassimo coffee maker. The remote on off switch works brilliantly (leave power switch at off position for it to work - caught me out for a sec as I thought it would function from the on position). Really pleased with it. Would definitely recommendUPDATEAll the above is true but I've found that after about 1/2 hour of use it starts continuously bleeping with a fault warning. This is on a low 300W load, no evidence of overheating and battery voltage measured at 12.5v (from 2x 110Ah AGM leisure batteries). Switching off fir 30 mins resets it but only for about 10 minutes or so. Very annoying.

What a great piece of kit. So far it works exactly as the associated manual states. I run my house from this inverter, by plugging into the car while it is running. It happily powers the refrigerator, water pressure pump, lighting, computer and I even used a 1450w circular saw. I tested with a 3000w kettle, and predictably it turned itself off, but as specified by the manual, it powered the kettle for approximately 1 second (this inverter has a peak of 4000w for 1 second to allow for initial surge power from induction motors, etc). It's quiet and the fans only seem to run when needed; in my case, I rarely see them come on at all. Having paid such a low price for this, I wouldn't expect it to last too long and will update my review if and when it fails!

Opened this product up to inspect the quality. I would take caution purchasing this product:* Hot glue residue; all over internal components; with strings of hot glue bridging over to other internals.* wonky/crudely attached, as if someone has just picked parts up and soldered them on a board randomly.* screw threads are cut in half* spinning/unsecure earth point* poor inkjet writing - which should be a warning sign of counterfeit/dangerous Chinese goods.Would I trust this item housing 2000W 230Ac at high amps? NOLesson learnt: buy from a reputable brand with quality standards.Shame because this was not cheap in comparison to those brands.

Quite big and as a result could be difficult to position, but good piece of kit. Nice thick 12v connections wires supplied alight the arena very long so I purchased longer (and slightly larger cross section) versions from my local auto parts store. Plenty of 240V off grid power in the caravan and will power my wife's GHD straighteners which many of our camping friends are now very jealous of! :-)

Does what it says on the tin. Has powered everything I've thrown at it including my coffee machine and ice maker (not at the same time! ). Quality pure sine wave inverter. Runs quiet, fans kick in when needed. Draws a noticeable current when on and idle, so only switch on when required.

This thing is great. Definitely pure sine, laptop likes it. Handles my 1200 watt coffee machine easily. I have had Krieger and sunshine solar prior to this. This the best. Great quality cables and tools. If I am being picky the remote is a bit cheap looking, but again, it works.
