You can’t tell me nothing—I absolutely love my little Kindle 😍 It’s so cute, and I’ve completely decked it out from head to toe. The size is absolutely perfect. I throw it in my purse and take it everywhere—even quick errands or waiting in the car—and it’s so lightweight I barely notice it’s there. Functionality-wise, this Kindle delivers. The screen is clear and easy on the eyes, the adjustable light makes reading comfortable in any setting, and the page turns are fast and smooth. I love having a completely distraction-free reading experience—no notifications, no scrolling, just books. The battery life is impressive too. I can read for weeks without worrying about charging, and the storage holds more books than I could ever read at once. The only downside is the smaller screen, which might not be for everyone—but for me, the portability makes it worth it. Best for: travel, quick reading sessions, and anyone who wants something lightweight and simple Not ideal if: you prefer a larger screen or read a lot of PDFs/comics If you’re deciding between this and a larger Kindle or an iPad, this is MUCH better for portability and distraction-free reading. I've been trying to read books again for the last couple of years without much success. In 2025 (and probably 2024), I never finished a single book that I started. That includes self-help, college textbooks, and friend's books! Fumbling with books, turning pages, trying to remember to carry it with me, all of that made it difficult for a working adult with a family to sit down and read, even for a few minutes. Not to mention my arthritis, needing to wear reading glasses, needing a light just bright enough to make out the words, and more. I ordered this Kindle on New Years Day and fully expected to get bored of it in a week and want to get my money back. I downloaded my first book (Included in KindleUnlimited), by an author I never heard of (even though she's critically acclaimed and has had books turned into movies) and started reading. I was INCREDIBLY SURPRISED how easy it was to read on this thing. It's MUCH better than a physical book, by leaps and bounds. I started reading the book on Monday and finished it by Thursday. I can't wait to start my next book! The book was good... and that kept me interested, however... a few things about the kindle made it easy to finish the book so quickly... 1) Mainly, it was how easy on the eyes and the size of the text. I didn't need my reading glasses at all and the text was clearer than any book I've opened in the last few years. 2) It's lightweight and fits in my pocket! I like to (try to) read books of all different shapes and sizes; from large hard back to small and thin paperbacks. It doesn't matter the author's preferred format, this kindle puts them all in my pocket with ease! Plus, one-hand reading is easy, I don't have to "hold back" the other pages while fumbling from page to page. 3) The feel of the screen is smooth and it's easy to turn pages with the same hand I'm holding it in, but even better with a quick swipe of my other hand. 4) It's just the right amount of brightness with the backlight. I can read it without the backlight sometimes, but I prefer the backlight already and my eyes don't strain. It does drain the battery much faster, but I believe I could finish an entire book without having to charge it at all. Overall, this thing is amazing and I look forward to expanding my mind and READING on my spare time instead of playing mind-numbing games on my phone. I do love my card and board games, but they might have to take a backseat. Both my phone and this kindle fit in my pocket easily so if I want to take a break from reading spades and backgammon are always available...

Pictures dont do it justice. Ive been loving my kindle basic. Shes already decorated so cute. Seems to work well, except the new 5.18.6 update made it act weird. But since I waited and then did a factory reset, she's back. I love that its light weight, and small. Its easier to hold. Im a minimalistic person, and this is the perfect kindle for me. Its durability isn't like the newer ones, but its still great. The brightness is better, I dont really care about warm light. Its faster than I thought it would be.

I got this Kindle for my wife for Christmas, and it’s been a huge hit. She loves to read, and this Kindle hits the perfect balance of lightweight, responsive, and easy to use. The 16 GB storage is great and she’s already filled it with hundreds of books and still hasn’t come close to running out of space. The screen is clear and easy on the eyes, even in bright sunlight, which makes it perfect for beach days or reading by the window. I love this so much. I have had my 3rd gen kindle now for about 14 years. It still works great but I recently went on a cruise and bought this so that my Mom could use my old one for magazine reading. This newest model is the best. Perfect size. It fits in my pocket yet surprisingly large enough to read. Easy to hold and feels like a book. I recommend the handle accessory to hold in your palm but you don’t have to have it. I liked it for reading while laying down. The only thing I missed was color. The book covers display in black and white but I quickly overlooked this once I realized the benefits of the size. It’s going to be awesome to travel with for work. If you are looking for a travel Kindle, this is it! I’m so glad I got it.
