Review: Cleans Awesome! Some odor and has another use I like a LOT. - Purchased a gallon of this back on July 11 during Prime Days after I read reviews. It's now November and I thought was time to write a review. This stuff works awesome on grease, old smoke stains (cleaning a vintage rv that someone smoked in for years- like really gross thick ick that any of my other cleaners didn't get off) and everyday normal spills and dirt. It also makes a fabulous bug killer even if it's not it's intended purpose. We get those creepy camel crickets here and if you freak out at bugs, they are a bug you will really hate. They are a non-native species here and they jump at your legs if you try to stomp them and can bite somewhat painfully. One good spray of this and they stop jumping instantly and die pretty fast. Not sure if they carry germs but bonus of no worry when using Spray Nine because it kills germs too. I know some bugs, like roaches, can carry germs so I think it's a good thing to know about the product. I only tried this on the camel crickets because I read someone on a review saying it killed roaches and it worked great. So I take a spray bottle of this out every couple weeks and hunt camel crickets in the back yard. I just shoot/spray individual bugs, not saturate the ground with it as I don't think that would be good. The Spray Nine does have a chemical smell that is sort of strong and noticeable if you use it for a big job and inside a closed in space (shower or small bathroom) so I would say use a fan or open a window if that kind of thing bothers you. I am sensitive to perfumes and chemical smells (bleach can take my breath right away) and if I don't use a fan and some air flow I notice it. I won't use around my son or our pets for a big job as I feel being exposed to chemicals so often as a child is what made me sensitive to them. I wait until they are out of the house to do the shower and bathroom and have the fan on. Luckily it works fast so any odors dissipate in under 20 mins. I spray it on (probably would call it a heavy spraying) and let it sit a good 10 mins first then rinse off. Don't need to scrub too much and I notice less soap scum build up since I have been using this. Odor doesn't bother me at all when I use it outside. My favorite use besides bug killer and disinfecting qualities is the grill. Love how easy it is to keep the grill looking nice. Mr. likes it for automotive cleaning and gave a spray bottle of this to his mother and she uses it now too. It got rid of some black stains off her patio- I think the stains were from some tree sap. I haven't tried on clothes yet but I sure will if we ever get any grease or anything on some enough to try. I will post a comment here if I do and let you know the results. Definitely recommend and will purchase again. I am glad I bought this and it does work well for everything I have tried it on so far. Really is amazing.

**Q: My stove hoods has heavy build up grease under it , looking for a cleaner for this problem, any ideal?**
A: If you are still in the process of removing the grease from your stove hoods, mix Dawn with Spray Nine so it will stick to the hood and give spray nine a chance to lift the grease without so much work from you. Another option for you is 50/50 of dawn & vinegar overnight, rinse and then clean with spray nine full strength.

**Q: I have a rental unit where the renters never cleaned the kitchen. Covered in grease. Will this work on kitchen cabinets and handles?**
A: Yes, it is the best product I have found.  Just spray it on , let it sit for a couple minutes, you'll see the grease and dirt and scum just melt away, then wipe clean. I also have a rental house. You would not believe the mess some renters leave!! This product helps save a lot of time and elbow grease.

**Q: Can Spray Nine cleaner/degreaser be used in quartzite?**
A: Try a small spot,  dont know why not.

**Q: Will it clean poo stain on leather car seat?**
A: Too late for you, but for future readers: NEVER use this product or similar strong degreasers on leather! It will destroy the oils in the leather, causing it to dry out and eventually crack prematurely!

Stick to a mild detergent, even something like Dawn dish soap is sufficient. Most importantly, after cleaning with anything, you really need to follow it up with a leather conditioner! This is a good idea for seats in general, if you want them to continue looking good for the life of your car, but is ESPECIALLY important after using a cleaner. They're available for a reasonable cost on Amazon or in the auto care section of any big box store.
