This light is the perfect accessory to my boat. It lights up perfectly with different color options. It made my boat really noticeable and it lights the water in a beautiful way. I like the attention my boat is attracting these days. Simple to install. Easy to use. Excellent value.

Does not come with waterproof connector wire they recommend to use with this light. This is not quick connect. Good luck.

It took me a while to test this thing out because I needed to purchase a 12 V battery. I also wanted to use it as a mobile light off my dock rather than in a boat hull. I knew the light had to remain submerged or it would overheat, so worked out a design… I ended up making a floating platform out of a solid throw ring with mountings attached to hold the light 8 inches below the surface. Mounting was a bit of a bear due to my jury rigged contraption, but once in place worked beautifully. The light is almost too bright for my shallow saltwater creek. At first it wanted to flash, but I had read other reviews on how to set it and was able to put it on the color I wanted. While, everything worked and the light is very sturdy and substantial. I feel like some of the mounting equipment could’ve been a bit better.

I mounted mine on a pole to use for gigging Flounder either on the beach or from the boat. In coastal South Carolina, we can't use anything but red lights on the coast between May and September because of turtle hatching. This light is perfect because I can select red on the beach, but white or any other color when on my boat. I like that this unit also has an automatic safety shutdown if you pull it out of the water and it senses that it is overheating.

No sé qué pasa que el diagrama que trae solo la instalación es con uña o z de 3 cables y dos ce que trae en swich que no trajo y aparte el cable que trae es de 4 cables y la monto y sé queda prendiendo y apagando que puede hacer?

After 4 years my underwater light (different brand BTW) leaked and quit working. I was able to use my old switch but this light came with one of you want to add it. The light is super bright and looks good underwater. It seems well made but only time will tell if it remains water tight or leaks like my last one. Installation only took 10 or 15 minutes because it was the exact same size as my old one and it was simply bolt on for me.

I thought this light would be really great but I can’t seem to get the switch it came with to work .. so really can’t say if it’s a good light or not … it does work connected to a battery but cycles thru colors and I’d like it to stay on white light but won’t without a good switch .. Pretty spendy IMO
