I use this as a Roller Skating Trainer --UPDATED
I am clumsy and love to skate. I've broken so many bones trying to skate that I should give up...but I won't. My latest attempt involves this three wheel walker and a ridiculous amount of protective gear. It's working really well. I don't think it will keep me from falling all the time, but I'm much more confident on the skates when I'm holding this in front of me. I've tested it on sidewalk and it really worked well. Tomorrow I will try using it on our road. I have Cardiff stable skates, tail bone/hip padded shorts, wrist guards, helmet, elbow and knee pads. Maybe I can finally skate regularly without breaking something. This thing is good as a skate trainer because if you take the bag off it kind of looks like it might actually be a product made to help someone skate, and not a walker. Well...I hope for the best. Oh...make sure you stretch out the back wheels when you get it or you will think it's horribly unstable and want to return it. It helps to actually look at the instructions instead of just putting in the handles and thinking you're done.UPDATE - 12/28/2014: Well my crazy self is still using this when I go roller skating. It's been working great so far. I skated a quarter mile today on the quiet roads around my house. They are craggy beat up roads with potholes, and little stones all over the place, but I'm still able to skate on them so long as I use this thing. I wasn't able to skate on this surface at first. It took several days at a campground with nice paved roads for me to come back and have the leg muscles sufficient to propel myself on beat up clumpy tar road.I've had a lot of close calls where I know I would have fallen if not for the walker. The other thing is - at first I was trying to get the most non-walker looking thing to use because I was embarrassed to be using a trainer while I skated. Everyone, especially older people, see me doing this and love the idea. They all ask what kind of walker it is so they can do it too. Let's face it, normal surface roads are too bumpy to skate on without eating it eventually. No one is mocking me. People think it's cool. Now, I know I'm going to wear this thing out faster than usual by skating with it. The next skating walker I use will be one of the 4 wheel rollators that's for heavy people 400 pounds or more. That will give me even more stability, ruggedness (I hope), and provide a seat when I get tired out.So yes, if you were searching like crazy to find something that will allow your clumsy self to roller skate again, the way you used to love when you were a kid, then a good walker will work, and you shouldn't worry about looking stupid. It's not perfect. I've had some close calls. But with protective gear and this thing you will be able to skate down mild hills and hit rocks and stuff without automatically falling.

Lightweight and Sturdy
Couldn't be more happier with this walker. It is very lightweight and sturdy. Extremely easy to maneuver. Opens up and easily folds in too. I am able to place right behind my drivers seat in car. Altogether now I have purchased 3 over past few years. Two for myself now and the other for a friend that was recovering from stroke. She loves hers as well. You can maneuver this easily in and out of tight spaces too..Great care was taken in packaging as well as it came double boxed. Very easy to assemble. I love mine🤗

Great for someone who needs a little help getting around
Bought for my 84 yo Father who has dementia and has a hard time getting around. This is the perfect cart for anyone who just needs a little ballance assistance. My Father has midstage dementia and is still mobile enough to want to help Mom around home. Using this cart he can get the mail put it in the pouch. or he can go with mom shopping and carry all his needs in his pouch. He has become so proud of his ability to help out and feel needed by Mom. It is light enough that he can lift it and manuver up and down stairs but still provides enough support to keep him stable while walking.

Read all instructions carefully to assemble
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I bought this rollator because it is 10 lbs and a little more streamlined than my Drive 18 pounder. I own this for a few months. Only today did I accidentally learn that you must extend the back wheels to widen it for stability. This is the most important part of the setup, and it should have been very clear in the ad as well as on the product itself when one is setting it up. No wonder why so many of us felt it was unstable! So I found out the rear wheels and tubing can (and should) be pulled out to extend them simply because I picked it up by the "leg" and the whole tube with the wheel attached extended at least 5 inches more.. now it makes sense that this can be used as a walker with decent balancing features. Once those wheels are pulled out and it widens the base of this walker. The instructions need to be revamped and somehow highlight those two areas with a yellow sticker or a tag with instructions on it, because I never would have known had I not picked it up by the bottom. Without those bottom wheels being pulled out an extended, it's very easy to fall, especially if you are big and tall! Much more emphasis should be put on that part of the instructions!

Model Received Different From One Pictured
I am resubmitting this review with an additional star subtracted because of problems with this device. Previous review included a now deleted URL meant to resolve problems and gain helpful feedback. It is fairly usable, however, this walker should not be an Amazon's Choice designate. The enclosed instructions show a model with a horizontal axle bar along the back wheels. There were even two threaded knobs for the back wheels but no washers and no place to connect them. The model I received has a v-shaped wheel configuration almost identical to a similarly priced Lumex branded model also available form Amazon. The biggest problem is that the brakes can be applied by squeezing the handles but DO NOT LOCK! The instruction brochure is poorly photographed and any guidelines to adjust the locking mechanism on the brakes are very confusing and require additional tools like needle nose pliers. An email response from Carex told me to take it up with Amazon. Also, the base of the brake assembly has tinfoil like coating over a wingnut type fastener and I have no way of knowing if this is supposed to be removed or not. Oh, and the mesh right storage pocket was ripped across the bottom. This should not be an Amazon's Choice and people should not use it unless they have a minimum of fitness, as do I, with ambulatory spina bifida.

Easy to maneuver
Strong, and very easy to maneuver. I've traveled abroad, used it in airports and inside any plane. Easily stored on the overhead compartment. This item has saved my trip. The small storage compartment is very useful and keeps my hands free to maneuver. I love this item. Very reasonable cost for a great product! Highly recommend.
