I’m in the process of installing a whole-house 3-stage water filter, and I decided to purchase the iSpring WSP-1000 Reusable Whole House Filter as a prefilter before the main filtration stages. I’m so glad I found this filter here on Amazon—it’s a great deal and a perfect addition to my system. Easy to Install and Clean: It’s simple to install, and cleaning it is a breeze. Improved Water Quality: I’ve already noticed a difference in the overall water quality in my home, which is great. Super easy to install and works great.

I bought this item to use in my lake water system for watering the lawn -- just what I needed for cleaning up debris that was quickly clogging up my small in-line filter washers that I was using before. This system provides a much larger area and is also easily flushable to clear out any debris that it does catch. I bought the 1000 micron version, but Michele at iSpring helped me figure out that the 200 micron version was optimal for my application, and she arranged to get it quickly shipped out. Problem solved and the lawn is happy!

I have a conventional well that produces a fair of amount of sediment. This filter does a very good job of removing the larger bits of sediment. The reason I gave it a four star rating instead of five was because I thought they could have included a couple of more sediment screens that had more sediment ratings, especially some smaller micron ratings.

Over the past year, I have been experiencing significant issues with a water filtration system installation that I made. One of the most concerning aspects of this installation is the system’s inability to effectively remove contaminants from the water. Despite its claims of filtration, the system has failed to capture and remove impurities, including fat, resulting in the accumulation of these substances within the filter.

Easy to use, I opted to go with the 50 micron filter after installation.

I installed this on the 1" copper water line that feeds my irrigation system as the sprinkler heads were getting clogged with small bits of iron from my well water. The 1000 micron filter works great for this, and I may try the 500 micron size if needed. The different filter size options makes this product much better than the HQMPC brand filter which I had purchased first and is nearly identical but only offers the 100, 50 and 40 micron size filters (the filters are not compatible, I tried). The iSpring brand came with an extra o-ring, and a metal bracket to mount the unit against a wall if needed. Installation was quick and easy with 1" shark bite connections.

I am using this ( the 1000 micron option) as a non-clogging pre-filter for a rainwater collection system. It feeds another 30 micron filter. No leaks so far. The 3/4” female pipe threads at each end are convenient for using adaptors. The stop valve at the bottom makes it easy to clean; no need to unscrew the housing.

Called into Isprings and complained about filter not collecting and gentlemen there understood my problem and figured that I could use a filter with mesche smaller. I thought I had the right one but wi knew. Great customer service and 5 stars in tackling the problem. They are sending me a replacement.
