Nifty MiniDrive Retina 13" Red - Storage Expansion for MacBook Pro 13" with Retina Display

The fit of the micro sdxc card in the nifty drive is so tight, I can't remove it. Luckily, I didn't put the accompanying 4gb card in first, or I'd be stuck with that. But I was planing on using my 128gb micro back and forth with other computers; now I'll be unable, because it's stuck in the nifty drive.3/17/15 I contacted Nifty Drive. They advised me to destroy the Nifty Drive to retrieve my sdxc, and they would send me a new drive if I sent them a photo of the destroyed drive. To their credit, they sent a new one promptly. So they get 5 stars for customer service. The 128gb card is very difficult to remove from the new drive; the 4gb card they provided comes out much more easily, though is still somewhat difficult. So this seems to be a function of # of gb.The product description says up to 128gb, and strictly speaking this is true. But I'm guessing you're better off with 64gb or less.

This is a killer product, and I've been very happy with it. The red color provides an aesthetic yet tasteful "pop" on the side of the computer. Functionality has been rock solid. The removal tool is well designed, and I like that I can't accidentally remove the drive from the SD card slot.

Love this thing! Great way to expand the internal storage for your Macbook, since you can't replace a drive anymore.A bit pricey, but it works great, and looks cool. Fits perfectly and looks like it's made for Macbook.

This is a well built product. It feels solid - much better than the original "The Mini Drive" which may or may not have been one of their products.

内蔵ドライブとして６４G使用中、WIN７とOSXのダブルブート環境でのデーターの共通保存ドライブとして使用しています。フォーマット形式で悩みましたがfat形式で使用しています。

作りは丁寧できれいにし上がっているし、データ格納するにはいいと思います
