I messed around with it for a while and tried to push it in hard but it only went part of the way and it started to chip at one of the edges so i had to pull it out and shave away at the inside of 3 slots with a stanley knife to make it fit. Now the slots aren't as neat and tidy and one of the slots has chipped away at the edges slightly. It isn't too obvious but it's not ideal. Other than that i can't really complain. It looks ok and takes the weight of my 27" monitor without any bending or anything.
