We are both adults, over 35. Male and female. The larger ones seem way too big. **Q: Can i use this during the whole flight?** A: I put the earplugs into my ears as soon as I sat into my seat and kept them in for about 1 hour into the flight (I had forgotten that I was wearing them).....I think it would be a matter of comfort as to whether you keep them in on an entire flight....the reason I realized I still had the Sanohra ear plugs in my ears is because I wanted to watch a movie, and that required me to wear headphones. These pressure reducing ear plugs do a marvelous job. As an added precaution I chewed gum on takeoff, and I had absolutely NO discomfort with pressure. Then, 45 min. prior to landing I reinserted the earplugs and chewed a fresh piece of gum. Once again, NO problem with ear pressure. Follow the instructions on the package and you should be fine. I've used these for 2 back/forth flights and the instructions say the plugs are good for 3 back/forth (or to/from) flights....My opinion would be that there would be no reason to keep the earplugs in the entire flight except for wanting to block out noise/sound.
