Samsung Diamond+ Rugged Gadget Case Titan

Every time I end up with a new phone I go through the usual process of buying cases and returning any that aren't suitable. I went straight to the usual suspects, the Spigen Tough Armour was too slippery for the size of phone, the UAG (can't remember the case name, just that it cost me £60!) was bulky but didn't offer protection where it's needed, though I kept it as it looks nice, I tried around 20 cases and have ended up with the UAG, Titan and a Mous case which I have as my classy choice for it's sleek design which makes the phone feel so much smaller. So why have I stuck with this case as a "daily"? Well it has great grip on the sides, has a lanyard loop, the sides come up above the screen curve protecting it in a way that usually only an Otter box defender would for a curved screen phone. As a bonus the attachments are great, well one is, the card holder is totally pointless. The one that provides function as a stand though is brilliant, you can hold it like a mug of coffee if your hands are full, use it to hook your fingers through while holding or taking photos for extra security against drops. For the times I have dropped it the phone has been protected, I strongly feel the extra screen protection around the sides has kept it from having to go in for repair. One of the cheapest cases out there for this phone and if you can tolerate the added bulk and having to remove the attachments while charging (it causes the battery to warm up faster so charge speed slows down, removing it allows heat during charge to dissipate more readily). It's the surprise package of the cases I tried, I expected it to sit in my collection not getting used much but I've settled on it as the best for daily use now and only change when I need to use my gimbal or am going out somewhere and want the class of the walnut backed Mous to go with the occasion. Not sure how it will handle the summer in terms of how much the case causes things to heat up, hopefully it will be ok though. I'll revise the review if it ends up a problem.

Strong protection all around the screen. I use Spigen lens protectors and they fit perfectly in this case. For someone who goes hiking and biking regularly this case is perfect. Dropped a few times in the nature (while hiking) and so far so good. The hook is useful if I want to attach a cable. Good grip around the sides. Perhaps a little bulky for city use but perfect for my outdoor requirements.

This review is for the Samsung Rugged Gadget Case. This is my 2nd S23 Ultra case, initially I got a Smart View Wallet case (usually get the LED, but there isn't one for the S23); however the Smart View was very disappointing. The Rugged Gadget Case is very substantial, it is thick and feels tough; it certainly makes the phone feel bigger. Overall, the fit of the phone in the case is good, but the edge of the screen is clearly visible both top and bottom (see photos), which ruins the aesthetic a little. The case looks rubbery, but it isn't, it is very hard (and solid) plastic which can feel a little slippery in the hand. The attachments fit on the back very securely on a bayonet type mount; both the card holder and grip mount are easy to fit and remove, but remain very secure on the case in use. The grip can be used as a stand, in both portrait and landscape, and works very well. The grip also offers a nice feel of security when you hook your fingers through it. The card holder will just about accept 2 cards and holds cards securely. The buttons work very well; they have a nice bit of a 'click' in use and don't need too much pressure (unlike the Smart View Case). I've used 'Google Wallet' with the phone in the case and it worked fine. so no probs with NFC. I don't use wireless charging so can't comment on that. So far I'm happy with the case; its not my ideal case (I'm really a wallet style case person), but it's comfortable to use, is functional and will hopefully provide good protection for the phone. I look forward to other attachments becoming available, especially something to fit it to my tripod, we'll have to see what Samsung produce. When I bought mine there was a 29% discount in the Samsung store on Amazon, which brought the price down to a reasonable level, I don't think I'd have bothered at the full £54 that is the normal price.

Love this case Yes it's bulk but that's point isn't it?

The case and stand are great but after 6m, the machanism on the back lost it's firmness and became loose. This means that the stand does not work. Amazon said go to Samsung and Samsung do not give a warranty with their phone cases, so buyer beware. This might only last you 6months.

Item is OK. It fits well. Material is plastic and quite firm and I had hoped it may be a little softer which would have been more compliant and more of a shock absorber.

Build solid. The grip is also a stand and the wallet is fantastic

Excelente capa robusta e ótimos componentes como o suporte muito prático no uso do dia a dia o suporte de colocar cartão também é bom é só tomar cuidado pois pode arranhar o cartão.

The case is great, it does protect your phone. With the attachments it's too bulky and makes holding your phone cumbersome, and a struggle to get in and out of pockets.
