Bad fit for my Coleman NXT 200 grill, but I fixed it.
Initially, the hose did not let gas from my 20 lb propane tank reach the burners on my Coleman NXT 200 grill; while a 1 lb disposable canister worked fine. It was puzzling why the canister fit fine but the hose and big tank did not. However, after digging around for answers on the web, it turned out the remedy actually was to modify the grill fitting to better fit the hose, i.e., the pin in the grill's female fitting is slightly too short and thus does not reach deep enough into the hose end to allow gas flow. I fixed this by placing a 10 mm socket into the grill's female fitting and turned the pin/nut counter-clockwise, loosening the nut (that is part of the pin assembly) by about a quarter turn, thus in effect lengthening the pin just a little to make up for the shortfall in the hose end. Then when I tested the hose again, gas successfully flowed to the burners. No leaks. I also checked to make sure my disposable canister was still a good fit after this modification, and it worked fine and did not leak. While my repair worked, I have to give the hose a one-star review for forcing me to do work that should have been done by the manufacturer to begin with. I don't know if Coleman screwed up making the hose or their grill, or both, in this case. Hopefully they will sort it out in future.

Had to modify
Did not work at first. After reading the reviews was able to modify the hose to work. What a waste of my time on a Saturday....Thank you for the review below you saved my BBQInitially, the hose did not let gas from my 20 lb propane tank reach the burners on my Coleman NXT 200 grill; while a 1 lb disposable canister worked fine. Works with high pressure camp stoves.
Works with twin 20,000 BTU camp stoves; IE: Camp Chef Everest. It reverse threads (lefty tightly) into your bulk tank (20lb cylinder). No leaks and seems to be of decent build quality.Picture is a Camp Chef Everest with this adapter hose, connected to a 20 lb tank, and both 20k BTU burners on high. Adequate gas flow.

The hose will pay for it self in not time at all.
This hose will allow you to utilize a 20lb (5gal) or bigger propane tank instead of the expensive 16oz tanks. This hose will pay for it self after the first propane tank you go through. Tip. always purge the hose before you disconnect it so you don't get liquid propane on your hands. You can do this buy turning off the valve on the propane tank and turning the grill on till the flames go out. Also on the fitting they do not need to be tighten with a wrench just by hand. On the tank side there is a O-ring and on the grill side there is a Teflon o-ring seat.

Fitting pulls off easily. Where is quality control
End wasn't crimp. Fitting pulls off easily. Where is quality control. Now I find out it's not returnable. There were cheaper ones but I wanted a good name brand. If I had not noticed this prior to hooking it up and pressurizing the hose, this could have been disaster causing injury. Amazon should not allow sellers to not take returns for bad craftsmanship. It shows the seller has no confidence in their products. I have used Coleman in the past and have noticed their products are not as well built as they used to be. Very sad. I wish I could give them minus stars, it what they deserve.I highly DO NOT recommend this product.

Junk
The Coleman road trip grill was never designed to have this kind of pressure from a 25 pound tank to begin with so buying this thing is a waste of money because it's going to overwhelm the regulator you already have installed from Coleman and there's no replacement, not even from Coleman as a matter of fact it's a waste of money to buy the Coleman road trip grill to begin with

Coleman hose doesn't work out of box, Mr.Heater hose worked out of box
This adapter hose does not work out of the box. No gas flows from 20lb tank. I thought it could be the tank or the grill's regulator, but alas it was this crap hose from Coleman. I opened a brand new Mr.Heater adapter hose and it worked 100% perfectly right out of the box. Would never recommend this product even though I generally like coleman's cheap stuff. This hose was overpriced and doesn't even WORK. Another reviewer left a comment about how to loosen some piece inside the large tank end of the hose in order for gas to flow-- WHY would anyone buy this and why would Coleman expect users to make this adjustment? I will be seeking a refund / return instead.

Used properly it won't activate the safety device that will slow flow hose syndrome
If you use this on a portable grill pay attention to the fact that if u turn off the propane you have to wait until the pressure trickle through the safety devices or it will fail. Since my grill is made for the green disposable bottles that I used to leave on I just leave the propane tank on and use the grill control. If the tank connected directly to grill works and the hose only trickles gas to burner then the hose safety is triggered. You have to replace the hose.

Broken after first use
This adapter worked great the first time I used it. After the 1 use, it stopped working past the return period. I had to buy a replacement cable instead which works better.
