Razer DeathStalker Essential USB Gaming Keyboard

my son ordered this and while he is very happy with the keyboard itself, the lights don't work.We are not sure if this is related to the software linked with the keyboard, but we have no 'ghosting'.Shame as it looks a top product.

As this was for my step son who I only see once a week the reaction I got was it is okay and does its job!

Grey writing on black keys make it very difficult to read in anything but very bright light. Although it has many good features, they are all overshadowed by the need to use an extra light source to light up the keyboard and having to bend down to the keyboard to see what key's I'm typing.

i bought this for my children as they choose this keyboards by themselves and they are really good gaming keyboards .

It's Razer so I already knew it would be well built and it is. The keys are a bit hard to press down but I guess that will wear off over time. Love the key bindings that you can make with Razer synapse, I can pull of 320k dps on my ret pally with only 3 macro buttons :D

This keyboard is absolutely amazing and perfect in every way, except one. The keys are black and in their wisdom Razer decided to paint the characters on in dark grey, with no backlighting. While in your standard office environment this make no difference at all as the characters are still legible, in any kind of reduced lighting, like say when watching a film or playing a game the characters on the keyboard become completely invisible making this keyboard into a chocolate teapot.Do yourself a favour and spend the £10 extra to get the standard version rather than this budget version a keyboard is not a regular expense and considering you are already going for an elite model you may as well go for one that won't make you want to pull out your own hair when you are playing something with a bit of atmosphere.

i bought this keyboard as i needed a new one and cant complain it is a fantastic keyboard to have for anything be it gaming or just surfing the internet. HOWEVER i would spent the extra £10 - £15 and get the back lit one as the keys can be hard to read unless the room you are in is brightly lit.

Habe das Keyboard jetzt schon eine ganze Weile in Benutzung und kann mich absolut nicht beschweren - die Tasten hängen nicht, es ist leicht und angenehm sauber zu halten und zu bedienen. "The best gear is the kind of gear you don't notice" - der Satz trifft hier definitiv zu. Funktioniert wie eine Verlängerung meiner Hände.
