Reliable controller
Have been using this 30a controller w two 100w panels for more than a year in my RV. Well built and provides accurate readings. The horizontal buttons that toggle adjustments doesn’t seem particularly useful for most users, so I don’t bother. But otherwise I am happy with this purchase.

Functionality.
I already have this charge controller, but wanted to add another solar array to add more amps to my system. So now I'm running 2 30amp charge controllers on my battery bank. I like the menu I can go through the setting with ease. I don't need an app or a phone to sett this up.

Works very well but not exactly user friendly
Pretty accurate. Within 0.1v of what my meter reads. If you can figure out how to set it up the way you want it's awesome. Seems to work fine out of the box on the settings it's already on though. Worth the money over those smaller, cheap made controllers you find all over Amazon.

you have a warranty if you can get it registered
the products seem to work properly but it is very hard to get them registered for the warranty. i bought a 2 panel solar kit, a larger controller and then 2 more solar panels. I've called but its eternal hold. i tried the on site ai which is no help at all. but i will keep trying.

Easy to use
This is easy to connect. Very user friendly and will automatically boost power if needed. Great quality product and really good value for what you spend

HORRIBLE SHORT CIRCUIT GARBAGE
DO NOT BUY. I Connected the wires to the charge controller just as I have all others I’ve hooked up. Very simple, plug bare wires into the lug, screw down. I attach the neg to the battery and as soon as I attach the positive I get sparks and a short circuit. The horrible screw in connections are somehow touching inside the controller and causing a short circuit when I connect to the battery. Disconnected and reconnected 3 different times and still the same result. Extremely disappointed after spending $120 on this piece of garbage. When you see the other reviews complaining about the unfathomably terrible wire plug ins, BELIEVE them and don’t waste your money.I have had a Renogy Wanderer hooked up and running perfectly for years so I trusted this company. They may have other good products but this certainly is not.

Very Noticable Improvement
Switching from my old charge controller to this MPPT controller allowed me to connect my solar panels together in series. Making better use of every moment of sunlight I get in my challenging surrounded by trees location. Batteries start charging earlier in the day and over-voltage when in full sun is converted to usable amps rather then being lost. Batteries charge faster when taking in this extra power. Worth every penny this controller upgrade cost me.

Good Conversion Efficiency
I purchased the 30A model to use with eight, 60-watt 24V monocrystalline panels for my RV. To make up for the daily drain from the 600 AH lead battery bank. I did carefully read customer reviews and the products specifications and I was not disappointed with my purchase or the performance of this charge controller. I cannot split hairs over this controller when there are voltage drops and voltage variations in every part of my DC system. The controller measures solar input and considering a 10-percent conversion loss (heat) or less, the DC charging current falls inline with the solar input current. All I care about is maximizing DC charging current and the USER settings allow that. I find the BT module and app work well for me adhering to the distance limitation of the BT module that is about the same distance as the lead attached to it. Once BT communications are lost due to distance, they must be reestablished.
