Perfect for the classroom door decoration easy to set up and very durable.

I am a teacher by trade but currently a stay-at-home mom with two young boys. I wanted to start teaching them to recognize letters and words that begin with them, and so I bought this product. It is everything I hoped it would be! I love that it shows both upper and lower-case letters in big, bold, easy-to-recognize type. The picture cards are vibrant and again, easy to recognize. I love that it has three rows for teaching three letters at a time on top, but also allowing space for the picture cards. This would make such a great preschool and lower elementary age learning center. And my inner teaching nerd is loving it in our house! It has put up with a lot of abuse, and it is still looking great! The material is thick, and all the pockets are still attached (it's a miracle!). This is such a great learning tool, well worth your money.

I was going to buy the Midsize Wall Pocket Chart , but I saw this and bought it instead. It's perfect for my needs. At the top of the chart are three rows that I can use to build sentences from the sight word cards we have. And I can use the pocket alphabet portion so my son can match the words to the letters they start with. Plus, I have a younger son who has been learning his alphabets. My only issue is with the provided cards. They come on sheets that you'll need to spend time popping out. The cards are printed on thick card stock, but you still have to be careful you don't bend them. With two little guys I know they're going to get abused. I managed to laminate the alphabet cards, but it was too tedious to do any of the others. I wish the cards came laminated so they can withstand the abuse of kids handling them. It's nice that you can make your own cards with pictures or words. This chart has a lot of uses!

Just as I remember from decades ago. I took off a star because my original set has picture cards that feel glossy. This set has a matte finish, and the cardboard used seems a bit flimsy rather than thick and sturdy, unlike my original set. So, I think the company is making this differently, lesser quality. The pocket chart is fine as far as I can tell at this time.

My 5 year old and 3 year old both enjoy this! Such a fun way to learn letters and placing the little pictures into the pouch with the matching letter has been such a win in our house! It’s a game and they don’t realize they are learning letters at the same time! Hung with thumbtacks and it has been super sturdy.

The tool itself is an excellent concept. The sleeves where you are supposed to put the paper pieces are can be tempting for children in that they want to store other items in them, which makes them flimsy. Great value for the price.

This has been a great addition to our kindergarten homeschool classroom. It’s good quality (I don’t anticipate any rips any time soon) and so useful. The pictures it comes with are very helpful for sounding out and building words. We hung it up on an adjustable clothes rack and it’s been working out great. Definitely recommend for young kids!

The middle row of letters were all upside down. I’m so disappointed as we waited a long time for it to come and then it was faulty.
