Great content! Very good six (6) vol. set makes this refrence a joy to search. Don't get me wrong, I still like the complete one (1) vol. book. Having things broken out in a logical way sure makes it easy to read. Each vol. has a complete index of the topics covered, and the other vols.

This work of theory, ideas and projects, built up over the decades is an invaluable resource that should be in every shack. I have this with its companion 5 volume antenna book. Often referred to, to help solve problems.

ARRL Ham Radio Manuals - Nice to have a hard copy!
Lots of great detailed information for every Amateur radio HAM operator. It is always nice to have a digital version on a computer but I really like having a good hard copy available when I need it. No way my old brain will hold all the data it needs. Just grab the book!

The books are great, but the packaging was not ideal for the long journey from the US to germany. Some pages became wet on the transport, so the paper has become slighly deformed. Not terrible, but also not ideal for a new book in this price range. The shipping was faster than expected though. In the end I guess it was probably the fault of the logistics company as the package was maybe put on the wet ground outside, therefore I would leave still 4 stars.

This is an excellent set of reference books for the amateur radio operator. Each volume is a comprehensive set of chapters on every aspect of the hobby. The writing is both readable and technically interesting.
