10 Liter is the Perfect Size
Bought this for cleaning throttle body parts and it worked very well. Depending on how much fluid you put in the unit will determine how long it will take to heat up. With a full tank of fluid you need to give the unit a least an hour to fully heat up if you’re setting it any higher than 80 degrees Celsius. It will get hot though so be careful when putting parts in the machine. The controls are very basic, like a toaster oven, just time and temperature which I like. The basket seems sturdy enough and the small parts basket and drain line also work fine. I used an ultrasonic carburetor cleaning solution and water to clean an old used throttle body on a TPI type corvette and it cleaned it up nicely. Though, with parts like mine that have lots of nooks and crannies, it will take 2-3 cleanings placing the part in different positions for every bath. Don’t expect the part to come out looking like brand new, a lot of times some areas will need some extra cleaning with a brush, but whatever dirt is left behind easily comes off with a brush and rinse. It is a bit noisy, almost sounds like a leaking air compressor tank, I have mine on a bench in the garage and can barely hear it in the house, which I found okay because you know when it’s running. It definitely worth the money, seems well made, the control knobs felt solid and was easy to clean and store. If you’re planning on using this for car parts or larger items, I would definitely recommend a least the 10L size.

Solid and easy to use
I purchased this sonic cleaner because it offered the size and features that were important to me. I especially like that it has solid knobs to control the temperature and time. Many ultra-sonic cleaners will only heat to 80 or 90 degrees, this one heats to 110 deg. I also felt that the price was good. It seems that I always have projects around the house or for freinds. I plan on using the cleaner for things like rebuilding the caburators from lawn mowers or power washers that so often I am asked to fix. I have only had this for a short time. I have not tried to clean any jewelry but have used it to degrease an coip[le of items, which worked well. I just finished cleaning the spray head from my kitchen sink and my shower head with the flexable metal hose. They both had crusted build up and clogged spray holes. The sonic cleaner did a very good job at removing and loosening the crusted calcium build up on both. For me this size works very well as it gives me the ability to clean larger items. This size also provides a drain with shut-off valve eleiminating the need to carry it to remove the dirty contents. I have cleaned a couple of small items and put them in a plastic baggy with a solution mixture the cleans them best. This way I do not contaminate or need replace the all of the solution. I am very pleased with this purchase as I am sure there will be many discovered uses having this in my garage.

Nice unit
Gets hot quickly. Buzzing is a tad annoying but results are worth it. Wish I had bought a LARGER unit

Size is a lie but power is true. Good value.
The volume is two liters, not three. Three would overflow; two is already a bit above the fill crease. It's not like they meant the overall dimensions which are greater than that; they just lied about the tank size. But for the $50 price, as long as you know what you're getting, I can still recommend it. Apparently a lot of people didn't notice the volume discrepancy after all. The device works well so far; I like the dial controls rather than digital buttons for convenience and hopefully longevity. You can't get an exact temperature indication without your own thermometer, but it does indicate whether the heater is on or off so it's not hard to tell whether it has come to temperature or to adjust the thermostat to figure out roughly what temperature it's at. The on-switch-timer does have a ding but I couldn't easily hear it over the noise of the device; better just wait until you don't hear the device instead. I measured the power consumption with something similar to a killa-watt device. The power factor is ideal, and the consumption when using just the ultrasonic is exactly 120W. The heater appears to be PTC-based by the behavior, so it can consume more or less than 150W or whatever they rated it at. I'm not sure what the maximum temperature it will actually reach is; maybe 60 or 70 celsius judging by the instructions, but probably more. That recommendation may be more for prolonging the electronic lifetime, since it's not going to cool itself that well. I wouldn't go past that, for that reason and because it doesn't have to be that hot to clean well. I don't know yet how long it will last; this sort of device does need to be treated with respect because it's driving those ultrasonic transducers with 60 watts each, and with two of them I could imagine problems if they don't stay in sync and try to oppose each other. I didn't verify the kHz, but I can say it makes an awful racket akin to a quieter version of the squeal of a circular saw, and you should definitely use hearing protection or stay out of the room after you start it up, because you're not supposed to be able to hear ultrasound so you've got to figure it's pretty intense.

Well worth $109.90 for 10L unit.
Two days and much use. Heats very quickly. 30 min from room temperature. Coins not much difference. Hand (metal) files tremendous difference. Water plus splash of 6% vinegar and splash of degreaser. Thought they were clean when I put them but water was black and files are like new after baking soda bath and WD40. 2 gallon jugs of distilled water fill to top of basket. Drains like a champ into 5 gallon bucket with provided hose to which I added a clamp to drain hot water after unplugging. Also did a great job on my drill bits. I’m pretty happy with this unit. It’s my 1st. I’m retaining box and packing to store between uses.

Cleans only with heat
The only thing that seems to work is the heat. Ultrasonic doesn't seem to do anything.

Nog niet gebruikt, maar ziet er goed uit. Goed afgewerkt. Toch verrast door de kleine inhoud. Mijn bril past er alleen diagonaal in, terwijl de inhoud 2 liter is.

Wait to much after delay and alos not working
