The material is so soft and leathery. Unfortunately the design of the shoe is horrible. There's absolutely no flex in the shoe when you walk so it's like walking with bricks tied to your feet. The shoe doesn't Flex it all and is painfully uncomfortable. The top part digs into the top of your foot and everything about these shoes from the moment I put them on is screaming discomfort. I am so disappointed. I will not be ordering these again and I do not recommend them for anyone. After the first pair of shoes that I purchased from this seller I was contacted by the seller. They offered to send me a different pair. The leather was soft & pliable, the heel was the perfect height & the shoe was very comfortable. I was very pleased.
