Inexpensive but excekllent!
This inexpensive, functional & well fitting AFO brace turned out to be near perfect for my drop foot accompanied by a weak ankle. In addition to supporting my drop foot, it also provides support for my ankle that's NOW NO LONGER prone to twist. I would not have believed it after trying numerous others (including an $800+ carbon fiber brace). Other buyer comments about this particular brace is difficulty of fitting/comfort. I believe that's because buyers do not realize that the bottom piece should be placed UNDER the shoe's insole. This issue could be easily solved if the manufacturer included instructions/guidelines, which they unfortunately DON'T.

Perfect fit !
Not sure why it got so many bad reviews, I just put it into my shoe, strapped it on and away I went. In warmer weather I might have to trim it a little to fit in some sneakers, but so far it's not an issue. It fit under and over my jeans, just adjust as needed. Lots of Velcro, padded well. You might need taller socks depending on how itchy it feels if you wear it under your pant legs, or if you wear shorts. Other than that very happy I bought it. *****

Very practical design
I like this brace because it fits my shoes without having to be trimmed. Also, it has a buckle, so that once I got it adjusted to fit my leg, I only had to buckle it to put it on. My old brace only had a velco strap, which after a few months lost its ability to adhere to itself and had to be pinned. I also wanted one that was black, because it doesn't show under the hem of my trousers as much as my old white one did. This one is also padded in the front, so it's less irritating to my shin.
