I needed a small diameter wire to put into a wood project. It is very easy to bend into shape, and cut to length with common tools. I am very happy with the results. A good purchase, will be looking to purchase again for my next similar project.

I have ordered this item several times, and what I have received every time is good quality, 999 fine silver wire. I use it primarily for making headpins, balls, and other decorative jewelry components. This wire behaves exactly as pure silver should under a torch, it melts and climbs into perfectly smooth, spherical balls - most alloys (sterling included) give slightly uneven, more oblong and sometimes pitted balls. The only things I can think of other than silver that this wire could contain and still react to heat the way it does, are more expensive (I've never worked with argentium silver but I've heard it's quite similar, for example). It wouldn't make sense for a company to adulterate their product with something more costly so I'm very confident that what I have received has been 999 silver, exactly as advertised, every time. It's nice quality too, smooth and dense, packed in little cardboard sleeves that keep it from bending, and delivered right to my doorstep - what's not to love?
