We mentioned that we wanted tri-tip, baby back ribs, etc. We needed a meat thermometer for the tri-tip. I asked my nephew to select one from Amazon. After reviewing many thermometers, he selected PureDazz because of all the features, waterproof, long probe, instant read, and backlight. It is the best thermometer we’ve ever had (and we have a drawer full of broken/ worn out ones). The two things I like the best are 1. The quick read. It turns on when you extend it and turns off when you close it. We are always forgetting to turn our thermometers off, and then they are dead the next time we go to use them.
