The red isn't overbearing, and looks super crisp with the black, and great accent for all the red on my dash and center console. It was not an easy install by any means. A little on the left, a little on the right, rinse, repeat many more times. Not easy, but I don't want it too easy. Otherwise it would be slipping and sliding all over the place while making a turn. This thing isn't going anywhere. I've only had it on there a couple weeks, so I can't speak on the durability. It seems to be good craftsmanship, but there are a lot of stitches. I don't know how long it'll last, but gun to my head I'd say 2 years in the same condition with daily driving. After that the stitches are going to start to pull apart, and the rubber-like black parts will be rubbed down by the heel of my hand.
