Fantastic product at a really good price. I was able to process 20+ bags of woodchip in no time at all and the blades still seem sharp. It's easy to use and not as loud as you would think. Very sturdy unit despite it's relatively light weight. Had a minor issue with the locking knob on our unit not fastening fully. The aftersale service from Aivolt was amazing! They replied to my email within 12 hours and talked me through possible causes and repairs. Once everything was tried, it was deemed that there was a minor fault on my unit and the issued a refund straight away. Fantastic customer service and I won't hesitate in ordering another Aivolt once I need it.

Only used once but I love it. I have a lot of hedge branches after cutting my hedge right down & it is making light work of shredding them up. I knocked a star off cause it certainly isn't silent, it's quite loud but it does the job so I'm happy.

This shredder is the second AIVOTE2500W shredder I've had the pleasure of purchasing. While it has proven to be an excellent machine, I have encountered a minor issue: the blades tend to remain sharp for about five bags before they start to lose their edge. Although the shredder continues to operate, it does put some strain on the impressive 2500v motor. One drawback I've faced is the difficulty in finding replacement blades on Amazon. In an effort to solve this, I decided to invest in a sharpener, which I hope will extend the life of the blades. It's important to note that all blades will eventually require sharpening, but I believe they should also be readily available for purchase. Another feature worth mentioning is that the blades are reversible, so you can simply turn them around to maximize their use. Overall, I am absolutely delighted with this unit, which is why I chose to buy a second one—though I haven't unboxed it yet—blades should be made available for purchase. Also, the blades are reversible. I mean, just turn it around, not at the back of the blade. I am happy with the unit and have bought this second one, which I have not opened yet.

Item looks a nice bit of kit. Bought this as wasn’t the cheapest and some of the reviews were quite good. Assembly was easy just take your time. We used it for shredding up so branches. These were no more than around 20mm in diameter so should have been well with in the capability of the unit. The Visio’s you see on line show the shredder pulling in the branches however not once did this shredder do it so you was always manually feeding it. After about 20-25mins of shredding it started to smell of burning and wasn’t shredding as well. So undone the top to clear out the blockage. This was easy to do however when trying to rescue the bolt that secures the top of the unit it wouldn’t locate on the nut to secure. We must of spent 20 minutes trying in the end we gave up and sent it back

Really impressed with this shredder. The 2500W motor is powerful enough to handle branches, shrubs, and general garden waste without struggling, and it makes light work of clearing up after a big tidy-up. It can handle fairly thick branches too (up to around 45mm), which is great for a machine at this price point. The reversible blades are a nice feature, giving you extra life before needing replacements, and the collection bag is a good size and helps keep everything neat while you’re working. That said, it can jam at times depending on what you’re putting through. If it does, you’ll need to open it up carefully to clear it—definitely power it down fully before attempting this. It’s not the quietest machine, but that’s expected with this type of shredder. Overall, it’s a solid, powerful bit of kit that saves a lot of time and effort in the garden—good value for money and does the job well.

Very good product

This may look small but it is far from fragile. Managed to shred the Buddleia small enough to go into the garden waste bin. Shredded some pretty awesome branches, A bit on the noisy side, but finished the job in super quick time and definitely worth the money - cheaper than getting someone round to do the work for me, Loads more shredding to do, Happy days

Only negative so far is the vibration on the branches as you insert them. Very intense
