I planted mine in a large plant pot and kept it watered during the summer as the site where I wish to plant it long term is under a coating of builders rubble. It is pretty resilient. **Q: I recieved some wild garlic bulbs with what i thought were roots, so i planted root down nothing is happening. Have i planted upside down ?** A: It’s dormant at this time of year it will emerge later in the year into winter I’m sure you’ve planted it correctly hope this helps **Q: Does wild garlic loose its leaves in summer** A: No the bulbs grew then they had lovely little balls of white flowers on about now flowers start to die but seed pods grow I cut them before burst and re sow them the leaves stay all summer smell really garlicky **Q: Is it safe to plant where horses and goats live** A: Sorry but I don't know the answer. Have you tried googling the question. Mine appeared to be all the same bulbs but they were garlic which is what I wanted. The arrived today via royal mail Wednesday. They were in a sealed box . Plants were lay on a piece of polythene loose in the box with no moisture. Some were broken and the rest were limp and shrivelled.
