Excellent product, I originally found cordyceps tincture at a specialty shop at about 3 times the prices of this product. North spore provides the same boost and tastes better. I highly recommend

I give this product four stars for the quality of being 100% fruiting body cordyceps militaris but I mistakenly didn’t read the ingredients carefully enough to realize that it also includes alcohol which is my only critique. Other then that I would of gave it 5 stars.

Great quality

I've been taking liquid mushroom supplements for a couple of years now, and I'm fortunate to experience many good benefits from mushrooms. This cordyceps mushroom extract tincture from North Spore arrived well-sealed with a decent glass dropper. There are measurement markings on the dropper, which makes it easier to know you're taking the amount you choose. It is organic and I appreciate that the source is from the fruiting bodies, which is the preferred way for quality mushroom extracts. That said, be aware that this is an alcohol extract, at 30% alcohol content in the bottle. I prefer to avoid alcohol extracts, but this information was not disclosed in the product description or photos. North Star did not include a photo of the ingredients panel on the box or bottle, so I've done one here with my review. Sellers really need to include accurate information, especially on costly supplements. Their photos here show a 4 oz bottle, but this product is the 2 oz bottle. The taste of this supplement is quite sharp thanks to all that alcohol. Compared to other brands, this is really pricey without a clear reason to justify the cost. I wanted to be able to support a small business, but unfortunately, I would not order this one again.

Doesn't seem to work like mycelium-based does. I decided to give it a shot because it's cheaper than the mycelium based products I was buying. North Spore claims the fruiting body is more potent. I did not find this to be the case. I purchased it two or three times to be sure. I will be going back to mycelium. Fruiting body appears to be a marketing ploy and not based on scientific evidence, and certainly didn't meet my expectations anecdotally.

This is a quality-made supplement. I like that it is made with distilled water and is in a dark glass bottle. I like that the packaging has clear, easy-to-understand instructions on how to take this supplement. I like using it in tea and other beverages. It does not change the taste. This is a great value for the cost.

The 2 oz or 60 ML bottle of "CORDYCEPS organic mushroom tincture" comes well packaged and sealed. According to the label it is an organic Cordyceps fruiting body extract (Cordyceps militaris; 1:1) and a serving of 1 ML provides 104 mg. Since I am new to this product and in actuality very few studies have been done in regard to its benefits and also contraindications I am going slow in regard to the recommended dosage. Under the tongue for me has a sweet taste along with the 30% organic corn alcohol content. I like that it is certified organic by MOFGA and USDA, is third-party verified for beta-glucan content a medicinally beneficial compound found in mushrooms and feel comfortable giving it a try. Cordyceps is a fungus with a long history of use in Chinese medicine for good health with many species found around the world. There are recent concerns the fungus in the wild is being over exploited, thus many manufacturers use the lab grown form C. militaris. Due to possible drug interactions, be sure to check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking over the counter medication.
