Very practical and to the point. It really points out the difference between love and intimacy. In American society there is a huge focus on love as the key component in a relationship. Manis Friedman does a phenomenal job in help people to understand that intimacy is what keeps use connected in our marriage and romantic relationships. I highly recommend this book to anyone seeking deeper relationships.

A good read for anyone seeking answers to questions about relationships. I bought this book because I felt that I was lacking a foundation in my journey towards finding a positive and long lasting relationship. After reading this book I can say that I have a better direction of what I want in a marriage.

Not all of the writings apply to Christianity but a good proportion does. I highly recommend this book. Read it!

This is a real life changer. I am an Orthodox Baal Teshuvah and listen to Rav Manis Friedman via 11213.org and YouTube, but this masterpiece not only made me realize I had never loved my wife genuinely, or had concern for her individuality, or had even been actually intimate with her before. This a blunt and brutal reality check at secular society and what things should be. A must have for any library!

This book explains why porn relationships do not last. Because they lack the intimacy that we all desire. God made us male and female so we can be joined together in HIm.

It's a great book. It is meant for a primarily Orthodox Jewish audience, but as a Christian, I was able to filter out what I didn't agree with, and absorb what I did agree with. I heard about the book on the Dennis Prager program.

As someone who is definitely not a Jew, i can say that this brought some perspective and a view that REALLY is never seen or heard. For that i can really appreciate it and even tho i disagree and don’t like some aspects, I would recommend it and I myself will take something from it for the future. (I had no problems with the packaging)
