Almost perfect! 9/10
Almost perfect! Been using utility knives for 15 years and this is my second favorite utility knife I've ever had. But they don't make my first favorite anymore lol. I love that almost the whole blade is exposed while most others only expose half the blade or less. I love how skinny it is, its not heavy or bulky and i barely even know if carrying it. The build quality is spectacular, it feels nice and solid and there is absolutely zero looseness or wobble in any part. The lockup is super smoothe and rock solid. The only things I would change are the length and the blade retention mechanism. I wish it was maybe an inch longer and I wish the blade retention was either a totally different mechanism or it was a standard hex head or flat head bolt, but I'm sure I could find a replacement if I really wanted to.

Very nice razor knife. Recommended
I don’t work on a loading dock and only occasionally cut cardboard. I do cut open miscellaneous bags, e.g., grass seed, fertilizer, Amazon stuff, etc. I also have to cut straps occasionally on bigger stuff. My vast collection of knives is ok for this but significant sharpening may be required.I checked this kind of knife hard before picking this one. Why?Olight is a good brand and they’ve been around. The knife is easy to open and locks firmly in place. Also easy to fully close. The handle and clip are high quality. You get to use the entire blade not just the tip. The flag one is very cool. What do you give up?Price. Buy once cry once. Blade replacement requires some small effort.Another hint: I had difficulty unscrewing the screw to change the blade. Mostly because I think they Superman screw it in originally. Anyway, it got looser as I screwed it out and put it back in. The little doohickey that comes with will work but you might have to hold it down with your thumb while you try to turn it. They also give a little cord. I tied it around the doohickey so I could find it more easily. All in all I thought the pluses far outweighed the minuses. Recommended.

A box cutter on bearings? It's as great as it sounds.
I've been carrying this for 6 months now. This is 100% my best purchase of last year. The whole thing is solid. It can be a bit of a guillotine, but you can tighten the pivot screw up if that's not your jam, as it is very sharp. Very fidget friendly. One hand operation and ease of usage is definitely there. You can also spydie-flick. The action is smooooooooth smooth smooth with these bearings. It was immediately noticeable how much the quality of this shines, that I bought another one to store away as a back up. It's as razor sharp, as you'd expect from a box cutter. The colorway looks exactly like any other Dessert Warrior colorway, if you're worried about continuity. They always look even better in person.Do check your centering, though. My first cutter's centering wasn't the great and was almost scraping the sides. I had it replaced after not being able to align it myself. After I sent the replacement back, I immediately ordered another to have as a back-up in case anything happens to the ones I'm carrying. All in all, I'm very happy with this box cutter from the quality of the build to the feel in my hand. I've been thinking about buying #3 here lately, just in case they discontinue this for whatever reason.

Excellent for the price
The pivot is strange. It's simultaneously crunchy, and very free turning. There's no resistance to it swinging around at all, but it does not feel smooth. The screw to lock the blade down is tough to get tight enough by hand, I use small pliers. The spine being thicker than the blade is unavoidable for a utility blade holder like this, and it does have the drawback that the spine can snag a bit when cutting through sheets (like cardboard)Those are my only gripes. Other than that, it's a solid little inexpensive edc knife. There's very little to no blade play when locked. It's very easy to operate one-handed. Exposing so much of a utility blade is an excellent idea and works great. It's thin and light. Definitely recommended.

Best folding utility knife I've found for the price
I've loved the replaceable utility blade folders since they were invented. This might be the best one I've found for a budget price. I've seen some that were absurdly expensive that are obviously quite nice, but I don't mind carrying this one and using it every day. The Axis lock is smooth and I love how the blade fixture uses almost all the edge. Great little knife, my new favorite, and I own literally hundreds.

Love this! Great price!
One of my favorite knives. Plus when it gets dull, just change the blade! Perfection!
