This dash cam was delivered quickly and is very simple to install. I only ordered the front camera as I have a truck cap and it is heavily tinted The only negative is that the wires that came with the unit is quite long so it is somewhat tricky to tuck in. I used wire ties to tidy it up. While I am in the driver’s seat, I do not see the wires and can barely see the dash cam. After installation, I installed the app and was able to view what was being recorded when the vehicle turns on. The picture is very clear and you can make out license plates of vehicles in front of you. From in front of the truck, the dash cam looks stock. Good job Mangoal for making a good product..

I’ve been using this camera for a couple weeks and it works great so far. Installation was easy and it includes all the tools you need, specifically the star bit screwdriver and the plastic pry bar to remove the trim piece in front of the rear view mirror. Removing that piece is the most difficult part of the installation just because it seems like you could easily break it if you’re not careful, but that’s a truck issue not an issue with the camera. Once that piece is off, it’s very easy to hook up the camera with the included wiring harness. Image quality is good and the microphone works pretty well. The app that they recommend using works fine and lets you view the live feed from the camera, download clips, and adjust camera settings to include formatting the memory card. The only setting I adjusted was turning down the camera volume to zero so I didn’t hear the start up “recording started” voice each time you start the truck. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the included memory card, which says it is a 128GB Lexar model, is actually only 4 GB. The worst part is that they are trying to pass it off as a 128 GB card by having it just write over anything more than 4 GB (it says 128 GB when inserted into a computer). So, if you were trying to save multiple files and go over 4GB, it will just overwrite your other files. I’m not sure why they do this since I don’t think anyone should expect a high quality 128 GB memory card with this budget option camera. Just include a real 4 GB card and let people upgrade to something bigger or higher quality. And you should definitely do that, because using a card that isn’t rated for continuous writing will degrade pretty quickly. You want to buy an “endurance” micro SD card, otherwise it will probably stop saving files after a few months. I bought a replacement 128 GB Samsung Endurance card for $20.

Was skeptical at first, but install was a breeze and the quality is there. This is a great value and the size is very compact. The video quality is great and the app works well.
