Why is the 60"x30" print so much more $70 than the 48"X24" when you're gaining only 12" and 6" respectively. Is there anything special about it?

i picked bigger size because of big - wide wall i have. smaller one wouldn't have the same effect. can't explain price, maybe because they not always available, usually their number is limited, ran out fast and you need to wait for new ones to be made more. at regular stores prices are around the same or higher for big sizes, they also rare to find

Can you hang this painting with basic thumbtacs? Or does it require drilling into walls and more durable hooks to mount this?

Right down the middle, here! No need to drill into the wall, but it's too heavy for thumb tacts! A regular nail & hook, that you can buy by the package at Wal-Mart or Target for a few dollars, works fine!

What is the plastic insert (3 pieces with 3 pins each) that was sent with the picture?

I still do not know, however I think its something to do to secure the painting on the wall. I have to straighten it on the wall every now and then. I hope this helps you.

Beautiful piece of artwork but it isn't red like The picture appears. It is Orange. A very pretty color Orange that will work for me but if you NEED red then you will be dissapointed.

Great, but don't rely on the image in the post for the coloring

Great painting BUT I was really counting on the dots in the middle of the blue flowers being red like the post shows. They are bright orange on mine :( I bought a red couch and wanted the center of the flowers to be red like my couch. I believe they offer custom colors, so if you buy this painting and you are picky on the colors, be sure to specify that when u buy and don't rely on the image in the Amazon post.

Was hesitant to purchase with mixed comments ...I found that in different light the depth of background color was light ...the painting itself is a little different but I think that's expected on a handpainted pic ...overall love it on my wall nice and bright
