I recently upgraded to the Netgear Nighthawk RS600 router, and it has been a game-changer for my home network! Right out of the box, the Wi-Fi 7 capabilities blew me away. It's incredibly fast, making everything from streaming to gaming a breeze. The setup was a walk in the park, thanks to the intuitive Netgear Nighthawk app. It guided me through every step, and I had the whole thing up and running in no time. Plus, the sleek, compact design fits perfectly on my shelf, blending right in without taking up much space. Performance-wise, this router is a beast. With its 10 Gbps WAN port and three 1 Gbps LAN ports, I get lightning-fast wired and wireless connections. The 320 MHz channel bandwidth and 4096-QAM modulation ensure that my devices run smoothly, even when multiple people are online at the same time. The range is another highlight. It covers up to 3,300 square feet, which means I get a strong, reliable signal even in the farthest corners of my house. And the Beamforming+ technology focuses the Wi-Fi signal directly at my devices, which definitely helps with stability and speed. One thing I particularly appreciate is the built-in security. The RS600 supports WPA3 encryption and has NETGEAR Armor™ powered by Bitdefender for real-time protection against cyber threats. It's reassuring to know my network is secure. Managing the RS600 is a breeze with the Nighthawk app. It's super user-friendly, but if you're a tech enthusiast, the web-based interface offers plenty of advanced options to tweak and customize your network. In short, the Netgear Nighthawk RS600 is a powerhouse router that has transformed my internet experience. If you're looking for top-notch performance, extensive coverage, and strong security features, this router is worth every penny!

Title: A worthy upgrade Description: After several years our r7800 router finally needed to be replaced. The recommended replacement was the rs600 and I can't say enough positive things about it. The Wi-Fi coverage area is excellent and we've had no difficulty having all of our TVs connect by Wi-Fi and stream. No dead spots in our house. The 10 gig port handles our internet speed without difficulty. Setup was fast and easy and we were online within minutes of getting it out of the box. Highly recommend

Returning the Netgear RS600 WiFi 7 router due to poor WAN/LAN performance. Also all 2.4G devices disconnect after being up for 4 days. After upgrading to a regional fiber internet streaming service, my 8 year old Netgear R9000 router was getting ~ 550 Mbps both upload and download speeds. So decided to upgrade the router with a RS600 to support the newer phones, computers, along with the larger coverage area. WiFi coverage is great but the upload and download speeds aren’t. With all the defaults turned on download was in the 200 to 250 Mbps range and uploads were averaging around 20 Mbps (or around 5% of my 8 year old NG router). More importantly devices, especially the TV boxes, were starting to have significant issues. The RS600 default settings resulted in download speed in the 200 to 250 Mbps range and uploads were averaging around 20 Mbps (or around 5% of the old router). More importantly devices, especially the TV boxes, were having issues. Turning off all options except NAT filtering. This included Armor, Protection Engine, and the Port scanning. Performance improved but only to 450 Mbps download and 22 Mbps upload. All tests using Ookla’s Speedtest but also confirmed using other testing sites. New cables were used included Netgear’s provided cable. Factory reset has also been tried. Digging into the online postings, this upload problem appears to have been going on for some time and not fixed in the latest firmware update. And applies to more than the RS600 router. This performance problem appears to be mostly relevant to the home fiber optical systems. Older coax cable systems normally have their upload speeds throttled back to conserve bandwidth. So would have given it a 2 for poor performance but dropped it to a 1 for disconnecting all the 2.4G devices. Both problems are documented in other online forums and I don’t need a poor performing router.
