Mine didn't have a strap but in fairness it was cheaper than it is currently so maybe it's included now. Bear in mind this is a KIT and has to be set up. The bridge is loose and must be correctly positioned. The pickup etc has to be fitted as well but I haven't bothered. Not sure this helps.
