I read reviews about it running small so I made sure and ordered a large and am so glad that I did! I am 5'4", 125 lbs and wear a size 4 in banana republic or Loft pants/skirts. This night shirt in a large fits with just a little extra room so that if it shrinks in the dryer a tiny bit, I will still be ok but it really fits perfectly. I would definitely NOT buy smaller than a large for me. If I wanted super loose, I would buy an XL. So this really does run small but I could not be happier with the night shirt.
