Women's Gel-Kayano 25 Shoes

Finally, after two terrible generations (23 & 24) Asics Gel-Kayanos are back to the old style and fit. I’ve been wearing Asics Gel-Kayanos for over 10 years and was very distraught with the poor quaility of the previous two models which were narrow and lacked depth- my feet just didn’t fit in them even a whole size up and wide width. The 25s are wide width, roomy in the box and have depth and ankle coverage for my orthodics to fit comfortably inside. I ordered these 1/2 size up which wasn’t necessary as these are true to size, but the extra allows room for my feet to swell. Thank Goodness Asics listened and brought back the quality and fit. I’ve been waiting to try the 25s for about a year now, ordered them immediately and went for a run to test them out. I am so glad they are back to normal. 🙌🏻 I ordered the size 10.5 regular width

These gel Kayano 25 are much wider than the 22, 23 & 24’s. However, the support is not there at all. I have bought Kayano since the 15’s. I have not bought after the 21’s except for now since I heard they were almost back to normal with the width. Since the 22 model, they have NOT been the same. These 25’s only and I repeat only have the width right back on track. They’re, in in my opinion, are totally different with support. There is no more arch, they are flat!! I had them on for about 30 minutes walking around leisurely and maybe a jog here or there and my feet were hurting so bad in the heal, forfoot and arch. I am an over pronator and have had no problems with the 15’s up to the 21’s. I cannot wear these anymore. I’ll have to look for another brand. Hopefully I can find something. I really do hope Asics comes back with the older model supports and cushioning. 🙁Asics get with the program and STOP trying to change!!!

These are my 5th pair of gel kayano shoes and they fit nothing like the 22s and 23s. There is zero arch support or cushion in the sole. They are so unlike previous asics shoes I own that I'm tempted to say these may be a knock off. I'm a nurse on my feet all day and even my broken down other pairs will get me through a day better than these horrible shoes.Keep scrolling, or at least try them on at a store first.

I’ve been buying asics only since 2008.I am 14-16 + hours on my feet every day and this is the only shoes I like. Except the Kayano 25 that I ordered on Amazon 2 mouths ago. This are not real asics shoes. They are nothing like asics. I’m sorry that I spent $170 dollars for such a garbage. Unfortunately I missed the day and time I can return them.Also, the first thing that catch my eye was the asics tag. For the past 10 years I’ve been through so many shoes but not even one pair has tag like this one.

I tried to buy this shoe from Nordstrom but they didn't have my size 11 M in the black. I've been wearing asics gel kayano's for 12 years & these are perfect! The 23's I own deviated from the standard fit (too narrow in the width of the shoe) and these 25's are back to fitting like the older styles. Great service from the shop owner!

After watching the decline of the Nimbus since the 18s, I decided to give the Kayano 25 a whirl in hopes that Asics was still producing some quality products. Alas, they were most uncomfortable. Not cushioned enough, hard structure. Returning. Hoping that Asics gets its act together again for the Nimbus 21.

I was looking for a durable sneaker for running that would be good for over pronation and not aggravate my plantar fasciitis. I was hoping for the price I paid for these that they would be comfortable. In all truth, they did not fit well and didnt have much in the way of arch support. I ended up returning them because they hurt my feet much more than helped them. But, that doesnt mean they are great sneaker...just were not the ones for me.

I received these shoes 2/25 and started wearing them within a couple days. All together, approximately 10 times. I loved this shoe the first few times I wore it. It provided the support I needed to decrease the issues I was having with shin splints. However, after only wearing them a few times, while tieing my shoe, one of the eyelets ripped right in half. There is no metal ring to help prevent this. Unfortunately, with this kind of damage, I cannot wear these now to run in as they cannot be tied appropriately. I am very disappointed as they were proving to be a great shoe for support and lessen shin splint issues.

As always very comfortable within one run. Also had numerous positive comments about the colour.

This shoe doesn’t give me enough ankle support - I suffer from over probation and the support provided by this shoe isn’t as good as my previous running shoe - which I was disappointed by given the cost.

qualitativ ein sehr hochwertiger Schuh den ich gerne zum Laufen trage. Er führt den Fuss ideal und gibt auch den nötigen Halt den man beim Laufen braucht. Selbst längeres Laufen ist für den Schuh absolut kein Problem. Er hat eine sehr gute Passform ich habe ihn 1 Nummer grösser genommen die ich laut Analyse habe und er passt perfekt. Die Lieferung dauerte leider etwas länger ... aber dafür wurde ich mit einem Super Produkt überrascht. Danke und 5 Sterne von mir
