I started using Nioxin Hair Fall Defense Shampoo two weeks ago, hoping it would help with my hair fall. The shampoo caught my attention because it promises to strengthen hair and reduce breakage, so I decided to give it a try, even though the bottle is quite small. First Impressions The first thing I noticed was the texture and the light, refreshing menthol smell. The shampoo isn’t too thick or too runny, which made it easy to apply. At first, I was worried I might need to use more product, but it turns out that a little goes a long way. Even though the bottle is small, the product is used economically, which is a pleasant surprise. Another thing to mention is the cooling effect on the scalp. I really liked how refreshing it feels while washing. It gives the impression that the shampoo is really cleaning not just the hair, but the scalp as well, which adds a nice fresh feeling. Results After 2 Weeks After using it for two weeks, I have some thoughts on the product. First, I did notice less hair fall. I saw fewer hairs in the drain after washing and less hair on my brush. This made me happy, as it’s a noticeable result in a short time. I also realized that, despite the small bottle, the product lasts longer than I expected. I don’t have to use a lot each time, which makes it more cost-effective in the long run. Pros and Cons Pros: After just two weeks, I’ve seen less hair fall, which is the main thing I was looking for. This is great love it helps heaps with losing hair and thinning hair I use twice a week has made a big difference my hair is thickening up again I have lots of new strands growing back highly recommend I also use a nixion conditioner with it

I have been using this for several months. It smells amazing and its got kind of a tingly feeling once applied. I believe that it is making a difference with hair fall, and will continue to use for the forseeable future. It takes time to notice a difference. They do not have a conditioner that goes along with it.

Girrrrrrl... When I tell you that I have been on a JOURNEY to finding a shampoo that my hair and scalp like, I am not kidding. The money I have wasted on shampoo after shampoo only to be disappointed time and time again. UNTIL NOW. I can't say that it stopped my hair fall completely or even at all yet, I still notice shedding. But I do have underlying conditions and am on medication that can be factoring in to that. So many shampoos feel good the first 1 or 2 times I wash, seemingly less hair fall, but then start building up product on my hair that make it feel oily or waxy, so then I need to use a clarifying shampoo to get the product out and my hair feeling normal, meaning I'm having to buy another product just to take care of the first product and it's a never ending cycle and well, call me lazy, but it's a b*tch, girl. Ain't nobody got time or money for all that. I have been using this product for a couple months and I have never once felt like my hair was oily, waxy or building up product. My hair feels soft after washing and for the next 2 days. I'm very sensitive to smells and this one doesn't have a strong scent. It just smells clean. i also had an itchy patch on my scalp behind one of my ears and I noticed recently that it's gone away since using this product. Do be aware that it's not detangling, so if you usually get tangles after washing, make sure to have something for that.. I use my Paul Mitchell leave in conditioner after I wash my hair and it works great. Don't let the small size and high price tag scare you, cause it's worth it. I was at my wits end trying to find something that worked for me, ready to give up. I'm so glad I have this a try. I hope it works for you too!
