It has the right size and the right compartments. I like the exterior window for an ID. The only small thing is that when you put cash on the inside and open the opposite side, it will "pull" the cash into its respective retaining straps. If you put too much cash in (or receipts or whatever you use), the tug can be significant and you can risk tearing the cash. A few bills at a time work fine, but for more fragile items like flimsy receipts be more careful. Card-stock can take some force to open the wallet.In spite of that small "nit" having cash on one side and receipts on the other, or small bills like $1, $5, $10 on one side and larger bills like $20, $50 on the other. I know, that’s early for a review. So I’ll just say that SO FAR I love this wallet. The craftsmanship really is excellent. The leather is thick and seems like it will hold up for a long time. The height and width is fairly standard for slim wallets, and it’s slimmer than any folding wallet I’ve found. Mine holds about 5-6 cards comfortably and I’m sure it can stretch a bit if you want it to. This quickly became my main wallet.The “magic” aspect is fun. It’s easy to make it look like you aren’t opening it from a different side when observers aren’t expecting a magic trick. I found that it works best with just a few bills because it does have to threat itself between the leather after initial placement of the cash. If you’re looking to wow someone, start small. My previous wallet had those things but used a money clip which was a hassle to tuck and pull money out from. The "Magic" component of the wallet was an upgrade to the money clip. The trick behind it is simple, in fact you can build one with some cardboard and a ribbon, but the wallet itself is high quality.Important note: things inside the bands of the wallet must be flexible (like paper money) more stiff things like credit cards wont "magic" themselves in very well, and you will have manually slide it into the band to store.
