I turned to other reviews and was surprised by all the glowing reviews and how they differed from my experience with these gummies. After reading several reviews, I wondered if something had happened with the bag I reviewed. The expiration date was a few years off. It was the first thing I checked after biting one of the gummies. This is the first time I have had a gummy with the grainy, gritty texture these have. They lacked flavor; honestly, I only made it through half a gummy. I then made everyone try one to ensure it wasn't just me. Nope, one bite and done. One person spit it out after a moment. Even our child's friend who eats anything sweet would not touch them after eating one. I would like to know if they had just been a fluke, which, from other reviews, looks like it may have. Yet this lousy bag leads me to question the maker's quality control.

I used to have cola candy when I was a child, so I was looking forward to this nostalgia, but it did not trigger nostalgia. These do not taste like the ones I remembered, these are much less cola tasting, it is pretty mild cola at most.It then just tastes like a generic sugary candy, so it isn't that fun to eat and I do not crave to eat anymore after one.It says premium ingredients, but they are just normal candy ingredients it seems like corn syrup and sugar and other typical stuff. If the ingredients were natural and healthier, maybe that could justify the taste.

Be careful, you're going to have to hide these from your kids and husband! Because they are delicious! The shape is cute and shaped just like a coco cola bottle, and the flavor tops it off, tasting just like classic cola. Pair it with a coco cola drink and you're good to go!The scent from the bag smells like sweet medicine, but my husband says it smells like normal cola gummies (and this is my very first time eating cola, so take what I say with a grain of salt). I measured it and it weighs more than a pound so you truly get the correct amount! I can easily bite through the candy and would say it's not too chewy like gummy bear, but it has solid structure. I highly recommend these and will be buying again for decorating kid treats!

When you first open the bag it has a bit of an overpowering unpleasant scent, but the gummies themselves taste like sugary soda as they're meant to. They're very soft too, more gelatinous than chewy, easy to eat.

so these are classic cola flavor gummies - i do see that they are created with corn syrup, beef gelatin, palm oil and artificial flavor. i have had a variety of different gummies from plant base vegan to homemade. gummy candy is still my favorite so i'd be happy to take these cola gummies in small qtys. The bag that arrived looked different than the bag received - it was all silver but is resealable and the exp date isn't until 2027. 1lb bag is a lot so this should last a while.
