This pretty linen colored box is well built with clean seams and nicely finished an all sides. It’ very versatile, can function as a recipe box, photo storage, cosmetic storage, etc, It comes in an easy to wrap box, and just unfold it to use. The front flap stays closed with a hidden magnet and there is a copper tone front plate that you can insert a label in. No cards or dividers are included and this is still a good value since it is so well made.

I got sick of looking up my sourdough pancake recipe all the time and for some reason have been having a hard time memorizing it, so I bought some index cards to write my recipes down upon (along with notes about what my kids like about the recipe, the date, how old they are, and silly notes). Then I ordered this box so that I wouldn't have a bunch of random index cards floating around in my junk drawer. It seems to have a magnet that secures the lid when you close it.

The ivory linen fabric is attractive. It comes with a solid bottom that you insert to make the box sturdy after it is unfolded. Very easy to do.A title card with the word “RECIPES” on one side will slide into the brass label holder on the front. The back side of the card is blank so you can write whatever you want to label the box. My box came with five of these little cards, which allows you to change the labels through time. This is a good idea because the box can be used for different things and its purpose may change over the years.The lid closes nicely and stays closed thanks to magnets inside the lid and box.Dimensions provided in the product description for the box are the outside dimensions. Here are my measurements for the inner dimensions of the box, which are important if you use it for anything other than storing 4x6 cards. Width: 6”. Depth: 4.5”. Height: 4 9/16”.Note that you can buy this Zicoto linen box without cards. Or, Zicoto offers the identical linen box with cards and dividers as a different item.

This is not what I was expecting. This is a cheap flimsy dollar-store quality fabric box. I am beyond disappointed!The box must be assembled, and it resembles the fabric drawers in the dressers, only smaller. The box should not cost more than $3.

This linen recipe box is really cute but it is just a box. I should have read the listing closer as I was bummed I didnt get recipe cards to go with it. It was confusing because in the picture of it shows recipe cards. It is made nicely and does look cute though.

This is a very lightweight cloth box, which is cute on the shelf! It has a spacious interior, fits 4x6 cards as it should, and folds together in seconds right out of the box. This is not going to last a lifetime (if it gets wet, it's likely to be ruined) but it looks great and will work just fine if you take care of it.

We ordered not realizing it was a soft sided recipe box that folds flat. That said this is actually really nice looking, nice enough to leave on the counter all the time. Also nice enough to give as a gift. The fact it is fabric does make it very light and if you drop it, no worrying about breaking. The only issue might be the fabric over time in a kitchen while cleaning but I'm assuming you can spot clean this very easily. If this is what you are looking for, don't hesitate to buy.
