I need you to know that I am being 100% serious when I say this nugget ice maker has changed my life. I swear to god, it is my favorite Amazon purchase I have ever made. Every day when I get off work, I race home for what I call “Ice Water Time.” I try to make all my friends sample it, even the ones who say they hate ice. Look. Its ice is so perfectly chewable. It makes new rounds of ice so fast. Having dozens of tiny ice squares in one tall glass of water is the best texture ever and makes my drink so much colder than a few lousy cubes. I can’t believe I went this long without an ice maker and that never considered regular shaped ice makers before this one. I feel like I won a prize, even though I bought it with my own money. If I was Oprah, I’d give one to everyone I know. YOU get an ice maker, and YOU get an ice maker, and YOU— well, you get it. Just GET THIS, okay?! (When you set it up let a full cycle run and dump it out before you judge the texture and then BE SO IN LOVE WITH IT EVERY CYCLE AFTER THAT.) Thank me later. 😘

I bought this for my mother, who is anemic and loves the pellet ice, or the good ice as she calls it. I use it when I visit her. It does take a little bit of time to make the ice, but my mom just makes a bunch at once and then puts it in the freezer for later. This is a quality feeling unit. It’s not cheap, but I do recommend it. It is aesthetically pleasing and looks nice. The ice is the perfect texture and tastes nice. It has the ability to hold a lot of ice, as the ice bay is pretty roomy. It feels like a well made and durable device. It was quick and easy to put together and it is easy to use, with a simple interface.

Ice capacity:This ice maker works fine for its purpose—it gets the job done. The large cubes are great (especially if you're into ASMR), but the small cube setting doesn’t make much of a difference and feels kind of useless. One downside is that the ice melts quickly once it hits the bottom of the machine, so you have to use or transfer it fast.Cleaning isn’t the easiest either, and the included tray fills up a little too quickly. That said, if you're just looking for a compact, reliable ice maker for occasional use, it does what it's supposed to.
