Bought these a few months ago. They need to be aired out or they grow mold, which to me is a good sign because it means they don’t have any chemicals keeping them from molding and that they are truly eco-friendly not greenwashed marketing. They clean teeth well and have softer bristles than boar hair. Sometimes after many uses a couple hairs will fall out but overall they are durable and a good value considering they will turn into dirt after👍 One lasts me 2-4 months and they last my teen son about one month because he leaves it on the counter🤷‍♀️my son does not like them but I will do my best ton convince him it’s better for his health to be slightly inconvenienced by the occasional bristle falling out rather than the potential long term health risks associated with nylon bristles shedding microplastics🤷‍♀️😂wish me luck!

Previously, in my quest to have all natural toothbrushes in bamboo or wood with natural animal bristles, the boar bristles were not soft enough for my gums and teeth enamel. Today I tried this version which features horse hair bristles. I am a customer for life! SO SOFT with excellent facility of the handle and bristles for the brushing. No bristles came loose at all which was a nice surprise. Attractive and space saving carrying case which also stands upright or can be stored on its side as you like. I am so happy in the value and functionality of these toothbrushes especially for a most important consideration of mine to use 100% natural animal bristles only. RECOMMEND

Firm bristles which I like but don’t brush too hard. The bristles fall out if you are too aggressive. It seems to be more effective to let the brush do its job. Definitely gets my teeth clean and helps me avoid plastic. For the price and the quality I would definitely recommend it.

I am stunned at how clean my teeth look and feel. Every nook and cranny and hard-to-reach corner of my mouth is squeaky clean. Unbelievable. I want to give one to all my friends and family. Goodbye plastic toothbrush, hello horsehair.

First time trying horse hair bristles. This is my new favorite toothbrush. I gave a pack to my sister, my brother, and two of my friends because I am enjoying them so much. The bristles just like any toothbrush are more firm at first use and become more flexible after about three uses and even more flexible after a week. My teeth feel very clean and the horse bristles have been better for my teeth enamel as well.

I got these toothbrushes in order to try to stay away from microplastics that are in the generic toothbrushes. I chose horsehair since I have sensitive teeth, so was looking for softer bristles. These bristles are definitely soft. I do not have to run under warm water to soften them more. BUT the head of the toothbrush is a little wide and is a bit awkward to fit back in my mouth to brush my molars. Also applying too much pressure when brushing my teeth, I find that the bristles are already starting to fray. Overall these are okay and I will use them all until they are gone. But I will plan on trying the Boar bristles next time to see if they hold up better. I do prefer using these over the nylon toothbrushes anyday though, as I like that I'm putting a healthier alternative into my mouth. Plus it is nice that they are environmentally friendly as well.

I am all for using healthy/non toxic products BUT the care of our teeth is extremely important for overall health. These brushes DO NOT clean your mouth When I switched back to a regular tooth brush my GUMS BLED! I know plasic is bad. In this case necessary. Brush your teeth with regular toothbrush, toxic free toothpaste and rinse well. That is your best bet. DO NOT BUY

I am brushing longer because I'm not paranoid about microplastics in my mouth from scrubbing with nylon bristles. Two bristles fell out the first time and none since. Not a problem. I have used it hard for a month and it has held up beautifully. It has the perfect level of softness for me. I rinse it out after use and wipe it off on a towel. I let it dry upright in the open air. No problem with moisture, mold or smells. It is a plastic free joy.

These are excellent. Well made. Everything that they describe is what you get. Thankful to find a brush with horse hair. Not plastic. My teeth felt even more clean than with standard plastic/petroleum tooth brush. Definitely worth every penny.

I love that these toothbrushes are totally compostable & have no plastic in them. They are a little firm when you first use them but they do soften up. My teeth always feel clean after I brush.

Would recommend. If ur worried about a few bristle’s coming out but still would ingest micro plastics you might be fried
