Reliable Power Deep in the PNW Woods - and Fresh Coffee, Too
I’ve been running this ZETAWALE 1500 W Pure Sine Wave Inverter as part of my off-grid setup deep in the Pacific Northwest woods, and it’s been solid. Paired with a 12 V battery and solar setup, it powers my camp gear without complaint — clean, stable power every time. The remote LCD screen is great for checking voltage and load without crawling over to the inverter, and the pure sine wave output keeps everything running smooth — no hums, no flicker, no drama. Build quality feels sturdy, and the dual cooling fans do their job when things heat up. The included cables are a little short and stiff, but that’s easy to work around with longer, heavier gauge wire. And here’s the real-world test: I pushed the lid down on my coffee bean grinder, and my buddy yelled, “Is that a coffee grinder?!” “Yep!” I said. “You like fresh coffee through the percolator?” “Yep!” he answered — and we both grinned as the smell of fresh-ground beans filled the woods. So yeah — this inverter’s earned its place in my gear. If it can power my morning coffee deep in the PNW forest, it can handle just about anything.

Great Customer Service
I purchased this inverter to be used in a 700 watt solar system I installed in my RV, and it worked great. As opposed to many inverters out there that barely manage to put out 110 volts,, from the get go this one would hold a solid 120 volts no matter what the load. Unfortunately after eight months, I noticed the voltage shown on the display would often sink down to 108 even with no load on the circuit. I verified this output with a multi-tester. Although everything on the 1500 watt circuit would still work fine when turned on, I reached out to the company and asked them if anything could be done. After a few emails and sending them pictures of the display, they immediately sent me a new unit. What a great company. I was impressed and can highly recommend doing business with this vendor.

Very good unit, no problem with power tools or my AC
A very nice unit. I used it for a month now and it was running everything from charging my electric tooth brush, Starlink to any 110V device that I tried. 4.5" angle grinder, large shop vac, belt sander, router, 1350W water kettle, air fryer, 5000 btu AC unit. Anything within spec was working fine. I accidentally turned on the kettle with the AC and it run up to 1750W-1800W and I shut of the 2nd item after a few seconds. The fan went to high and I looked at the watt display prior me shutting it down, but it ran. I accidentally overloaded it once by a large margin and it shut down. It recovered from the overload without problems. I hope the fan lasts, it runs fairly often.

Great alternative 👌
Got this pure sine wave inverter for a DIY portable power station and so far it’s impressed me a lot for all it comes with and at a great price compared to other brands. It powers a portable AC I have for the outside just fine at 800 watts and a TV as well that uses 300 watts. So far no issues with it at all and I’ve been running it for a bit over a month. Also the digital reader is super useful because it also allows you to see your battery level, your wattage in use, and you can turn it on and off from there as well. Well worth the buy 👍

Really good but could be great!
Purchased the 1.5kw to replace a 1kw inverter that ran just about everything in my RV EXCEPT the 900w microwave. The remote control is the only issue I have with it it's quite thick for mounting in the relatively thin RV walls. I may gut it and make a flatter, surface mount remote control.. If they produced a Bluetooth + app controller I would buy it in a heartbeat! I do wish the display showed AC watts, but for now I do the calculations. The biggest reason I chose this unit was the wired AC out connection! I have a 3 input transfer switch (Shore, Generator, Inverter). The hard wire leaves the 4 outlets on the unit available (but I don't use now that the transfer Switch takes care of that). My Coleman Mach classic runs great on the inverter! So does the microwave & coffee maker BUT NOT At The Same Time!!! It handled starting inductive loads with ease. I suggest increasing the size and type of the DC cable. I needed 1m to reach the battery. I used 4 gauge pure copper tinned wire. The voltage drop across the wire at full load is <.4v, much better than the wire that came with it. Don't use Aluminum copper clad cable. It is prone to corrosion and failure at the connectors. Yes aluminum is less expensive but...

Flawed design : unremovable 40 amp fuses
Cornell electrical engineer here; the 12V 1500W version has a design flaw on the PCB as mentioned by another customer. The flaw is that there are two pairs of parallel configured 40 amp fuses. At least 2 of these fuses will blow if you run the inverter at capacity for about 2 minutes. Mine blew when I was powering a 1500 watt microwave. The problem is that the fuses are soldered onto the board so you cannot easily replace them! To make matters worse, they are cramped between heatsinks and other components on the board, making it difficult to replace them. My solution was to purchase a pair of 80 amp resettable fuses, cut open the housing, and make then externally accessible. Big pain in the butt. Such a terrible design to solder the fuses onto the board rather than just put them into sockets! I will update my review later with more photos of my fix. The resettable fuses I got were these: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0DHCHLSYJ

Less expensive than name brands and It works great.
I’m using this inverter to power a mini split and outdoor cooking using an induction hot plate. It works great, the fan is a little noisy but I think that’s a problem with most inverters.
