This is a quality product which is reflected in the price. Bought it for Mr. P who is always in front of his laptop and unsurprisingly, has developed back pain. This adjustable laptop table allows him to work in a comfortable position which is mostly standing up, but the table height can easily be adjusted if he decides to sit.The holes provide adequate ventilation - can't be worse than sitting the laptop on a solid table. The instructions do not tell you how to move and lock the joints; it tells you how to configure the various positions, by moving joint C, then joint B, etc. You need to slide the ring left or right (think hands on a clock) and to lock it, you slide the ring back to the middle so that it is aligned with the leg. Once you know this, it is obvious what you have to do to make the adjustments. I'm not a technical person so I am sorry if I've not explained this part very well.It's not shown anywhere but you also get a small mouse rest (size of a greetings card) that you attach to either legs depending on preference. You need to unscrew the mouse rest assembly completely - there are 4 bits - the flat mouse rest, the big screw, and the 'thing that goes round the leg' is actually in 2 parts. Once you remove the screw, you should be able to separate the 2 bits of the 'thing that goes round the leg' (sorry, don't know what to call it!). Don't let my clumsy instructions put you off. A practical person can easily figure out how it is supposed to work. It really is quite simple. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Less sitting and more standing *by J***M on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 10 November 2016* Having searched for something in a reasonable price bracket was pleased to find this so I could try standing at a desk to work on my laptop. I have found it to be very versatile, stable in use and have been able to use it at different locations. It does take a bit of getting used to in adjusting the pivot points to get the height you need and the platform to the angle preferred for typing but like most things, practice makes perfect.It is also good in that I can share this with other family members who are not as tall and have found being able to stand and work a change to too much sitting. Personally I have used this with a laptop for working in excess of an hour at a time.As a note, that while trying out for the first time I used a low coffee table. In getting to the height I needed on it I found the weight of a laptop was getting close to tipping it forward and had to make sure that the platform legs were positioned away from me and not fully vertical. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ ... only used for 1 day and it is working great for me *by M***C on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 20 May 2016* So far only used for 1 day and it is working great for me. I tried it in three different ways- On an helicopter-swing-chair on garden decking. Only took a few second to set table the way I wanted it and it felt just right, about 1 hour use, felt comfortable- On a standard reclinable decking chair in almost straight up position, Table legs folded flat, table platform inclined towards me, another hour and again worked great (in this case the actual flattened legs were resting on my legs because this chair was a bit tight but it still works great, I spend another hour here no problems)- sitting on the sofa with my legs in-between the table legs, worked just fine as well.So far I found this product flexible, it is indeed sturdy and easy to use. Just move the ring/lock up or down to unlock the joint you want to reposition, when the leg is where you want it I simply move the leg in question (or the platform) slight up and down while I snap the ring/lock back into locked position (harder to explain actually easy to do). After you do this a couple of times it becomes very quick to customise the setup.
