The HOMNIVE bird figurines arrived simply packed in a plain cardboard box.In the box you get 24 different birds in a variety of poses.The birds are not to scale and there a quite a few varieties where this is obvious, so if used as a learning tool the size differences will have to be explained.Detailing is quite good although a fair bit of artistic licence has ben used in the colouring of some of the pieces.However, as long as the inaccuracies are not a problem this set is a fun and good value collection for a youngster.

Great little figures. My for year old loves them. Had to order twice. First order by post mistake returned package to seller. Seller immediately refund my money. Second order came quickly.

Used as part of a treasure hunt style game at a birthday party, these were a great hit and the children loved looking for them round the garden, they are quite small so if you do this please keep a list of where you 'hide' them as some of ours were never seen again, sure they will turn up in a few years!24 pieces and they are all different, detail level is pretty good, and they would make a great learning tool in playgroups/schools.

I wanted to teach my sister's young child which birds are which starting with our local friends. These are colourful and playable as well. They're the perfect size for outdoor or indoor play, and for crafts. It was really fun for him as well. Perfect gift.

My 6 year old daughter was hugely excited to receive this wonderful assortment of birds. However she was immediately disappointed when she noticed that many of them could stand or had legs that were bent that could be unbent or corrected. I feel like that really detracted from how nice this set could be. I think the legs need to be made of slightly sturdier plastic so that they can hold their shape better.

My kids are learning all about birds now so I got these to play with. I placed them in cupcake holders, covered in water and froze it. The kids had so much fun 'rescuing' the frozen birds.The figurines are high quality and sturdy. They stand on their own and don't fall which is perfect! The colors are awesome and they almost look real!!
