Great quality! Does exactly what is it is intended to do. Only ask for additional Velcro stripes. Otherwise saves my beauty rest and keeps the room cool.

Nice quality once you fight with the velcro that sticks to any material and the backing not as strong as the velcro hold so they can rip off so be careful how you peel it when taking on and off. Tip : cut measure and place velcro for first time while its sunny day day so you can seal any cracks. They send plenty of velcro rectangle black and round white as well as nifty silver metallic pen for marking, measuring tape and a water resistant bag for transport. Its folded in 7”x7” squares which also makes it easier to cut and measure. So other than that the ailver side serves as added insulation and it definitely blocks out the sun beautifully give or take some edges because we didnt put the velcro on right. I would buy again.

The installation was a breeze. The hook & loop tabs make it super easy to stick them up without any drilling, which is great if you’re like me and don’t want to mess with tools. You can cut the material to size, which is handy in theory, but here’s the catch—I’m terrible at cutting things evenly. It always ends up slightly crooked, and honestly, I’d rather not deal with that stress.The blackout feature itself is solid. Once they’re properly in place (and trust me, you need to use plenty of velcro so no sunlight peeks through), they do a great job of keeping the room pitch-dark. The thing that bugged me is that it only comes with one piece. I’ve got two windows in my room, and this shade only covered one and a half. That leaves me needing to buy another one just to finish the job, which feels like an inconvenience. Sure, there’s a larger size option, but since I hate the idea of cutting, it’s not really a solution for me.What would make this product so much better is if they sold a multi-pack. Most rooms have more than one window, so I don’t really get why that’s not an option. On the bright side, the material does exactly what it promises, it blocks light and adds a little insulation.

I picked the 51"x57" for $10 to try it out.Put it in the children's room to keep them from crawling out of bed and waking at 6:30 when the sun shines through the blinds on my off days. Works wonderfully.
