Great quality grind

Incredible grinder for pourovers. Brings out the flavours well and extremely quick grind, even for full 30g. Attractive, great case. Haven't used for espresso as have electric grinder for that but no reason to think it wouldn't work well. Highly recommended.

I will keep this short: I bought this with the sole aim of grinding the beans for my aeropress as I already have a proper grinder for my expresso machine. As an aeropress bean ginder, the options are limitless. The steps available to fine tune the flavour is just too much. For me, I wouldn't be able to distinguish at such a fine tuning. Of course, YMMV. The included accessories are perfect for travelling as well. I disagree with the other reviewer that the magnet is weak. I think it's perfect and it's a lot quicker than having to screwing the parts. Downside for me, is the price. I just wish it could be cheaper. But comparing this with others on the market at this level, this is okay. The price definitely will drop as this is still quite new.

While this grinds beans very effectively, it has a major flaw in terms of ergonomics in that the bin for the grounds is connected to the grinder only by magnets. As such, you need large and quite strong hands to keep a hold of it while grinding coffee and there is always a nagging doubt that the bin will fall off and spill ground coffee everywhere. I'm keeping mine because I can live with this flaw (and I don't want to create more waste) but I would advise you to think carefully before deciding if this grinder is right for you.

This is a great grinder! I use it for pour-over coffee, and it produces a nice, balanced cup. The only downside is the catch magnet—it's not strong and comes off while grinding.

An elegant hand-held grinder, capable of a full variety of grinds. At the finest granularity, it is unsurprisingly a bit difficult to turn the handle, but at usual grinds there is no problem. While purchased as a backup (to an electric Barazza Virtuoso) to handle power outages, it would be also great for camping.

This is my second 1ZPresso grinder. Not because the first one broke, but in addition to it! My first grinder is a J-Ultra for making espresso at work, while this X-Ultra is my all-rounder at home. I've already made Turkish coffee, ground coffee for my moka pot and even my Senseo Coffeeduck. Trust me, with a good grinder even a Senseo machine can make good coffee.

After searching and reading reviews of different coffee grinder maker, I decided to go with 1Zpresso X-Ultra. This is the direct successor to the 1Zpresso X-Pro / X-Pro S. As I have not been able to grind or do a taste test with X-Pro / X-Pro S, I like the X-Ultra because of the magnetic catch cup. This prevents from misaligning the cup when have to screw it in like the older model or other makers. Coffee tastes great! Comes in different colors and highly recommend this coffee grinder.
